@@sikagile correct! We have neither the power nor authority to bring it to pass. God can decree because he has the ability to issue consequences. The Word tells us to PRAY, to ASK, to PETITION. It says God answers PRAYER, not decrees. Sad that this false notion has gotten so much traction. Decreeing does nothing but waste time that could be spent actually asking for things...

Thank you Pastor & God bless you! “Decrees are used to fulfill Matthew 6:10 “Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done on earth, as it is in heaven”. Decrees cause truths from the Word and the heavenly realm to be manifested in our earthly realm. In Hebrew, decree, means “to divide, separate and destroy.” 💯🙏🏾🙏🏾

@@sikagile U Clearly Don't read the Bible. Read the book of Ezra, Esther, Job, Proverbs, and Psalms. Count how many times U see the word decree or declare. Read who was decreeing. I'll even give U 1 to read now. Psalms 2:7 KJV I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou [art] my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Now go do your research and homework. U have a Lot to learn!

@@gomikago the fruit is showing, you insulting me. If you read that psalm verse you quoted, it is the LORD that decrees and declared, David simply said what the LORD had said. Only the LORD can decree and declare things. We cannot decree (command/order) the LORD and make Him do what we want him to. Do you have any other verses to prove that decreeing and declaring is biblical? Because it seems to me, that YOU a mere human, thinks that he or she can decree this and that and not consult our Holy G-D.

@@sikagile if U feel insulted those are your own convictions and feelings. I only shared a few books of the Bible and a verse U could read. U provided none just accusations. Here are a few more and feel free to read the different translations. Genesis 1:27, Psalms 86:2, and John 10:34 KJV Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? Jesus also was quoted in John 14:12 “I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father. @@gomikago @gomikago you truly are deceived. Even the verse in job that this pastor is quoting, Eliphaz was the one who said that " you can decree a thing and it will come to pass".... At the end of Job the LORD rebukes Eliphaz for speaking wrongly. People like you love to misinterpret verses, and may the LORD rebuke you just as He rebuked Eliphaz. The verse in Genesis does NOT say anything about declare and decree!!!.... Or your psalm verse, that verse in John discusses how we will be able to spread the gospel Farther in terms of geography, because the ministry of jesus was only in gallilea and the surrounding area.... If you think you can exalt yourself above Jesus... That's wrong. As you can see, everything you've provided for this false doctrine is taken out of context and you are following that false teaching. Consider leaving that fake and false declare and decree teaching. You can run away now...

"God says in Job 22:28 that if you declare a thing He will establish it!" God did not say this, this verse is said by Eliphaz the Termanite, one of Job's friend. Job 42:7 is God's comment on Eliphaz. Job 42:7 "After the Lord had said these things to Job, he said to Eliphaz the Temanite, “I am angry with you and your two friends, because you have not spoken the truth about me, as my servant Job has. 8 So now take seven bulls and seven rams and go to my servant Job and sacrifice a burnt offering for yourselves. My servant Job will pray for you, and I will accept his prayer and not deal with you according to your folly. You have not spoken the truth about me, as my servant Job has.”

Go back and study that scripture out and the friend that was speaking those words. The lord told that friend in the end he was angry with that friend and others because they had spoken falsely to Job.
