This band is among my favorites, had the pleasure of playing with them while. I was playing guitar in Gutrot, and these guys are a must see live act, and I can't wait to see them again! Masterful brutality!

Using microphones does not change the possibility of triggers. You can re-sample acoustic sound afterwards as well. It can also be a mix of acoustic sound and triggered samples.
The whole kit is being sound replaced or reinforced which is when the natural drum sound is reinforced or altogether replace with a triggered sample. It's triggering without using the clamps.

@MrFigman420 I think most people misinterpret what i was trying to say. I like all of those bands (except the new suicide silence album) and i was asking a legit question of whether he was into their kind of music. Anyway, whatever abrb is, it's not technical death metal like decrepit birth so I wanted to know if he liked it.

Do you actually like bands like Suicide Silence, ABRB, Born of Osiris, and others that are on the poster behind you? I know Mitch Lucker from Suicide Silence liked Abigail Williams (as do I) but you do not strike me as a deathcore fan. I like death metal, deathcore, and black metal and prefer to play death metal influenced deathcore for drums.
