……After going through the comments for the last couple of days, I understand why it’s so hard for Armys to get into Blackpink. Everything doesn’t need to be a competition, and we all deserve the rights to stan who we want. This won’t stop me from looking into them more, but I am a bit reluctant to upload more. I would like to reiterate that I have said in the video multiple times I was unsure which Guide to watch, so I picked the most popular one. I also asked for a better guide at the end of the video. Some have given me it, the rest have just been rude and annoying. I’ll get back to BP soon with another guide and MV reaction!

Also they have had two albums with 8 songs since this video. The Album in 2020 and Born Pink end of 2022. Rosé and Lisa both have two solo songs Rosé On the Ground and Gone and Lisa has Money and Lalisa. Jisoo's solo is expected soon. Rosé also has another solo song on Born Pink Hard to Love and Jennie has another that hast not released but she is performing it on tour You and Me.

The stats are incorrect of course, they currently have 29 songs, over 84 million subs and almost 29 billion views on their channel. Yeah I never understood the beef between members especially when a lot of KPop groups are friends lol I can't get into groups that have more than 6 members. It's too much for me to keep track of 😂 They do have some songs they have written.. Lovesick Girls, Stay, Yeah Yeah Yeah... and have helped on others. Unfortunately YG doesn't give them as much creative freedom as other groups on other labels get. I love that they all agreed to not have a leader because they're all close like sisters.

Just wanted to tell you that most of us love it whenever other fandoms take a look at BLACKPINK. Most of us will respect you and treat you like family. However, there is a minority by which we often get represented (which hurts my feelings). They are toxic BLINKS they will hate on everything and everyone. Don’t pay attention to them whatsoever. It’s like fighting with a wall. If you have questions, feel free to ask. I became a BLINK only a few years back and I wish someone would have guided me more.

They probably do participate in many of thier songs YG don't give them credits like they did for one of thier song during their debut era ‘stay' jisoo and Jennie co-wrote it but they didn't gave them credits

I would recommend checking their music first before deciding if you like them or not. For an accurate embodiment of the group, I highly recommend their song “PINK VENOM”

They do write their music yeah yeah yeah and you never know and solo and on the ground and stay and hope not and a looot more

I believe some Blackpink members have written lyrics before, although not on every song. If you're looking for a self-produced girl group, I recommend (G)-idle. The leader and main rapper Soyeon writes most of the group's discography.

Might I suggest Rosé 's solos: On The Ground, and Gone. She co-wrote both those songs. She has really good covers like Slow Dancing In A Burning Room, Only Exception, and Read My Mind. Those songs really showcase her vocals.

Girl groups lack solid fanbases. They rule bc their fans + general public + bg stans listen to their music but only a few ggs like blackpink, twice, red velvet and some more have fanbases that are loyal. Majority kpop fans are girls Thats why its harder for ggs to have fans who have them as #1 priority

I think you should check out TREASURE and IKON from YG they are groups that produce their own music as well so you might be interested. And a fun fact is YG actually started and popularised idols producing and making their own music it started with GD and BIGBANG (I mean the BTS members themselves gave high respect towards BIGBANG and looked at them as their idols and role models BIGHIT also made BTS with BIGBANG and YG in mind that's why the group was hip-hop based when they first started out) Also, IMO sometimes I feel like some fans discredit all the great things in this industry that came around thanks to YG so just thought I'd let you know

Actually for me the best BLACKPINK songs are in their b-side tracks plus most are English try their BORN PiNK album The Happiest Girl & Typa Girl or from The Album songs like You Never Know

It is nonsensical to prefer artists to write their own songs, when there are more musically inclined songwriters out there, and some of them are geniuses. I am pretty sure the lyrics are discussed with the girls, and the girls will have their own suggestion particularly Jennie and Rose.

What the guys in the video ment by girl groups aren't as popular as boy groups is in the 3rd gen which is the k-pop generation Blackpink is apart of which is from 2012-2017 girl groups weren't as popular as boy groups, with boy groups such as BTS, EXO, and BTOB dominating the industry. The girl groups you mentioned were part of the 2nd gen from 2005-2011 were girl groups were more popular. Every generation it changes to who is more popular in K-pop boy groups or girl groups, right now we are in 4th gen which stared in 2018 and last year girl groups started becoming more popular then boy groups with 4th gen girl groups such as New Jeans, IVE, and Kep1er dominating the k-pop industry.

It's a nice intro to BP, but guide 2019 or more recent 2022 is better, because you get to know them a bit better. Netflix documentary Light up the sky is also good. You are so wrong about girl groups ruling kpop. That is absolutely wrong. You are a new kpop fan, do you should research alot more before making those false statements. In terms of popularity, streaming, album sales and concert attendance, the boy groups rule in kpop. No girl group comes close to them until BP challenges them.
