Jim Clark has coached women's cross country here since the team's start in 1979 when this school was Jamestown College. He recently retired after decades of work at UJ and the finish line at Charlotte and Gordon Hansen Stadium is named in his honor. The dedication was celebrated Sept. 21, 2024, during UJ's homecoming weekend.
Speaking at the event with Clark were UJ President Polly Peterson, Vice President of Development and Alumni Relations Brett Moser, and alumnae Billie Dixon, '85, Madey (Hornung) Ranum, '12, and Shawna (Doty) Myers, '98.
