Essentially. I figured out it worked and pretty much just said "Fuck it I'm throwing it up there". Day 1 videos go like that, especially when other people got the game early and got a head start on posting videos...

That was pretty cool, i wish air slasher feint could let you cancel into even more stuff aside from standing HP.

Yeah, it's pretty frustrating to see it end up significantly less plus on other moves, but such seems to be the nature of attacks. It could be worse, though. Cammy can do a fully charged Spiral Arrow after Drive Rush Hp, but NOT after Drive Rush C.Mp, even though C.Mp is more plus.

Honestly if you want that you'll probably either get horrible scaling from that move that the damage isn't worth It or the more probable thing a whole DeeJay damage nerf which makes these feint combos necessary basically

@Ajaw Awilix Cancel Windows are fairly separate from plusness on hit; Ryu's Back Heavy Punch is dummy minus on hit, but cancels into his Frame 29 Heavy Donkey Kick. Jab is +5 and can't even cancel into Medium Tatsu It's somewhat recovery based. You're cancelling the recovery of the move into a Special, so some or all of that recovery time becomes "plus frames" into a special

Even so, it looks stupid when watching the frame meter. It makes sense as to why it doesn't work in practical game terms, but visually doesn't make sense when thinking about it any other way. It's weird things like that which manage to bother me on occasion. Thankfully, however, I'm not a Cammy player, so such things don't apply to me anyway uwu.

@@namename9194 jab does cancel into medium tatsu. you just need to do an early cancel and be close enough. light tatsu is safer if you are far away tho.

I wish Manon could do this with her twirl; even with the Light feint, you're still like -4 after Back Heavy Punch, her strongest cancel It wouldn't be optimal in the slightest but it'd still be cool

It would be nice to see her have a real combo route that didn't require Drive Rush. I mean, she's a grappler so I get it, but she has so many other moves that I just expected her combo game to be a bit more eccentric.

Strange, as the lvl 2 is actually pretty good. The rhythm mechanic is admittedly annoying though, so maybe that's why.

Not useless. If you use faint fireball in block strings you can easily hit confirm it into damage
