Deeks Lake Trail is a 11.9 kilometer lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Lions Bay, British Columbia, Canada that features a lake and is rated as difficult. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from June until September. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

It's a good three and a half hour hike depending on your speed. Probably the most difficult local hike that I have done but it is beautiful! There are a couple good look outs on the way up, and even a waterfall.
Warning: major bear country, people reported seeing some kind of mountain cats
Great hike with steady incline more or less all the way up. Some muddy and wet sections and tiny bit of ice mixed with mud at the top by the lake. The rerouted entry/exit (replaces the beginning/end of FSR) has some very slippery rocks so watch out (have good hiking shoes but still slippery). Do not get confused by mobile signs that BC Parks has put up. The “new” entry is to your right hand side when standing on the parking lot when facing the forest. You will need to walk along the road a bit but not far before you see the trailhead. Enjoy!
