Deep Clean Your Vitamix || The Eco-Friendly Way! 

I have had mine for 4+ years, still looks pretty new, and I use it several times a week. After use, I add a drop of liquid dish washer, blend...rinse...the secret...hand dry with micro soft town, don’t let it drip dry. This method does work

I used some Q tips with peroxide and then the baking soda with apple cider vinegar and water and another rinse with apple cider vinegar which seemed to work wonders when combined. My kids use the blender and are quick to complete their task by leaving undesirable buildup behind. Hopefully they will start at the very least giving our most beloved blender a little more love before walking away for now on. Yours dirty was what mine looks like clean lol ...I tried everything, scrubbing with a baking soda paste worked the best for me. =)

What worked great for me is putting the baking soda into the blender then adding the vinegar to it! Let it bubble and then add some water, run for a few minutes on high then using a scrubbie, scrub it down. Worked fantastic! I think its the chemical reaction of the vinegar and baking soda TOGETHER than makes this formula work so well!

FYI, anyone adding vinegar and baking sofa together is simply nullifying the vinegar as the baking sofa is a base and the vinegar an acid. Just use the baking sofa and water

Mine looks like new after 3 years of use. I wash it right after each use.

Anyone else wondering / getting ticked off that a machine with such a hefty price tag has such a crappy pitcher that stains so easily..???

The newer blenders can be cleaned in the dishwasher without removing the blades. The older blenders need the blades removed. The result is a crystal clear blender container. Better than trying to clean on the motor!!!

The best way is to take a flat wooden popsicle stick, cut one edge straight, and use to scrape the brown scale gunk off the sides of the Vitamix container. I learned this after having several Vitamixes as a raw chef for over 20 years in my commercial raw gourmet kitchen. The general public doesn't realize when they buy one that you can't get it clean simply by following the so called easy peasy "just fill with water and a drop of soap and blend on high for one minute" advice in the instructions to clean this bad boy! Sorry it just doesn't work, unless you only used your unit a few times!

Try running vinegar & baking soda mix for 5-6 mins then let it soak for a lil while

Much better to let it soak overnight in vinegar and water….then use a baking soda and water paste with a toothbrush to remove stubborn stains…shouldn’t be allowed to get that dirty in the first place…🤮
