Your car collection is looking so sick! The music kinda kills the relaxed vibe for me though but I watch anyway as your cinematography is just top notch. Whatever works for you and the channel you have my support either way 💪💪
@@ChromaticGarage Hey, love your video! i own a 944 S2 '89 for 15 years already and this is the first time I dear to deep clean the engine myself. Could you tell me from which brand the soft brush is? thank you very much Julien
I'd love to see some more of the final result! The process is interesting but seeing the result is kind of the big thing at the end. Get some nice close-ups of that shiny engine bay :)
Detailing brought me to this channel, but this channel has given me a new found love of cars-especially the body styles of older cars. I know next to nothing about engine work and repairs, but dang these machines are cool.
very well done video, perfect lighing and colors, shot very well i think that if you published those types of videos without music, just pure sound of you working they would be very appreciated by the asmr community
Very good job, Porsche its really different really unique design and quality :) I watched your video and I really like the musical choice also congratulations to you I'm waiting for the video dedicated to the choice of your polishing tools... Tks!
@@ChromaticGarage just a word of advice which could save you a potential headache when working on older cars. After all you took the time to protect other components. Enjoy those cheesburgers.
I just took possession of my father-in-law’s 1983 944 after his passing and I find your videos helpful in my quest to bring this car back from the grave, so to speak. I used Simple Green on my 40 year old dust, the let it dry after a power spray. Followed by Trim Shine. Not as good as your stuff, but it’s a start. Question: You stuffed paper into the small open tube on the air filter box. My tube has duct tape over it. What is that opening for? Does it connect somewhere else using a tube? Thank you👍
Love the videos dude! One quick question: why weren’t you afraid of damaging electronics/decals? I haven’t taken a hose/pressure washer to the engine bay of my 92 Civic to prevent damage to brittle plastic/rubber and to preserve the factory decals. Again, just curious! Awesome work as usual
Thanks buddy! Honestly, not at all. There obvious areas you couldn't be holding water on, but I think its all common sense. If you're a little careful you'll be miles ahead of most people!
Haha man I don't even know. I try my best to find music that I can somewhat get down with on Epidemic sound. Its a creator site so we don't get copyright strikes. It says all of this is "hip hop" haha
Dope! Your collection is awesome. Is there a specific reason behind your affinity to German cars? I mean besides the obvious ones? :) Did your father drive one as well or something?
Thanks buddy! No real reason to be honest! I just prefer them visually. American cars for the same era are almost terrible. I will most likely pick up something JDM in the near future! :)
@@ChromaticGarage I thought that BMW wagon might be an E30 because it reminded me a Mercedes Benz C250 station wagon I detailed 😄 When I was 16 in 1985, I purchased my dad's 1970 Volvo 145s deluxe blue color with standard transmission. Man, it was a blast driving it. He had it almost sitting for a year and it was driven just on weekends and when we did some woodworking so we carried stuff in it and it was a workhorse too.👌😄 Used it during my university years until I purchased a Mitsubishi Champ 1980 which I sent it to paint as well as it upholstery from vinyl to cloth and installed an air conditioner since it didn't have it. It is still driven by who I sold it to. 😄
I have a question, in your video we're you cleaned the outside of the car, you first cleaned the rims and the tires. But why? Because that would mean that the dirty water from the rest of the car overflows them so that they are dirty again right? I am just curious because I want to better myself in cleaning!
For wash the paint of the car, is another bucket and product. He has a bucket for only rims and tires! Because think, if you wash and clean the paint first, when you clean the rims and tires, all the dirty from then is gonna be catched by the paint!
Your videos are excellent and production quality is high. The background "music" is repetitive, monotonous, and distacting. Watching with mute on is the only way I can get through then. For the luvvagawd get some decent tunes
