Probably the same reason I cant remember why I went in the kitchen but can remember the lyrics to every 80s song ever recorded. We only remember the important stuff! lol
The detail geek be testing me I was really about to go to sleep until I seen a notification showing that he posted guess ima have to stay up and finish the vid🔥🔥🔥🔥 no complaints haha
You inspired me to tackle the carpets in my house. My moms dogs aren’t well potty trained so while she lived with me they got sequestered into my living room and I couldn’t stand the smell of it. It took me three days to clean the carpets but now my living room smells fresh as before she moved in. I used a drill brush like you and then the carpet shampooer with no solution in it to pick it up. It took three days to finally stop pulling up brown and yellow.
This brought back memories for me. I used to have an 06 Equinox and had it for 11 years. That SUV was a tank (survived getting hit by a Ford F-350 with minimal damage). When I traded mine in they were surprised at how well the interior looked (I never let it get to this point and I even had the same shade of light grey)
I know it doesn’t bother him, as he’s being paid, but that’s not my point here. It really blows my mind how so many people can’t even be bothered to remove their own trash and personal items. It would take 5 minutes tops. I feel like it’s the equivalent of not stacking your plates at a restaurant to make it easier for the waiter/waitress to clear the table. Or not pushing your chairs in before you leave. It’s the little things really 🤷🏻♀️
True story. Our corporate offices needed ASAP 500 temporary construction workers. After being prequalified by personnel, we brought them in 8 at a time for “orientation,” and then simply hired the guys who pushed their chair back into the conference table. :D
Ok I agree with you but you don’t know what the person was going thru as mentioned she has kids maybe she was in a rush maybe she has 2 jobs maybe she is a full time mother maybe
Hi detail geek, I'm a 17 year old boy from California USA and I wanted to say that watching your videos have inspired me to start detailing thank you for the inspiration and advice!
Yeah I've seen few of the other ones, I get that people are busy be it with work or kids but seriously? 15 minutes? Yeah cleaning the stains sure is for a much more time but at least vacuum it. I would be embarrassed to drive in a car that dirty.
Keep in mind you are seeing a car that is at its worst every time in these vids. Plus kids in general are a terror to a car interior - our van looked like this after a road trip but it doesn't mean we were filthy people. Some cars you can tell the people that have them are just dirty people normally (like that person that never cleaned up the old vomit🤢) but this one seems like the kids are the main culprits
Your videos got me out of an anxiety crisis one night (the cleaning satisfaction and something super calming in his voice). Now I can’t stop. If the borders were open I would drive from Uruguay to Canada for a detail 😂❤️
Great work. I've been watching your videos for a while, and I noticed the quality of the filming in this video was really great. Love your detailing work and music. Thanks!
imagine him climbing in the back of the car, just to have Mike trolling around again. Like imagine the view from behind the scenes... Thanks for your great videos bro!
wow, the cleaning and the guitar was amazing. You are talented and I hope she can keep it clean, no reason for the car to EVER look that bad. Need you in my neck of the woods. Thanks
Love the new roof camera perspective during vacuuming! It really gives more orientation consciousness, sometimes before I couldn't understand what section you were doing. Amazing job!!
Great video, I bought the Bissell SpotClean Professional and the drill brushes and the water comes out dark brown. The hand brush I used in the past makes the car clean but the dirt is still deep in the fibers. I now need a pump sprayer to pump out enough cleaner to clean the interior. Thanks for the great tips!
I don't get it. My parents were pretty strict about making a mess in the house or the car, but it's like kids these days have gone feral. Weird. But a really nice job of mitigating the disaster!
@@jenniferpennington2530 let me rephrase that. North American thing. Here in the EU you don't really see dirty interiors. You pass by a car it will be pretty clean
Way to be a judgmental ass. Condition of a car has no correlation with how someone parents their child. How do you know they’re not raising the most kind patient respectful little children and they just have small babies. Cmon now.
Do you ever think about doing giveaways of your old cleaning items? or even possibly a car cleaning giveaway? But nice & cleaned!! I secretly watch your videos amongst rug cleaning power washing and slots🤦🏾😂...but I love it here
Just did my first "disaster detail." It was my in-laws Ram 1500. It was in such bad shape. Vacuuming and Upholstery/Carpet alone took 4 hours. I love my Bissel Spotclean Pro!
Perfect is an absolute - it is or it's not. But given the time crunch you had to work with this is as close to perfect as you, a perfectionist can get! I so admire your work philosophy. And it was nice to see Mike (even if he didn't help). Thanks for a terrific video.
I started to watch your videos a year ago and you motivated me to start deep cleaning my cars! I just bought a Bissell spotclean pro and hope to take customer cars soon!! Really excited
REQUEST: I bought that Bissell extractor and would like to learn more about your technique as to when you are spraying the water and/or just doing suction. If you could drop a caption or comment during the vid that would be awesome. Great work and thanks for the content that has inspired me to do the same!
Keep up the great work, you had a big influence of me picking up extractor. I picked up Kärcher se.6100 and man i was impressed with 1st extracting just like your vids. ☺
Hey! I have an 08 Chevy Equinox! I traded my 03 Ford Taurus Wagon in for it this past tax season! I love it! The previous owner must have taken amazing care of it, cause it's in amazing condition. It's the golden teal color.
Roach motel if ever I saw one. A business / enhanced customer service idea here>>> maybe you should consider having a loaner vehicle that car owners could be using as they leave their cars with you to detail. This will remove the aforementioned time constraints and enable you to do a thorough job.
Not to mention, if they leave their own car like this, how would they treat a loaner? He would have to detail it every time it came back! Great for us, probably not so happy for Mitch...
I had a 2009 Chevy Equinox that was recently stolen and totaled, and I LOVED that car... and this made me miss it even more :( .. I was just about to go get it detailed and in for some routine maintenance too.
Mike at it again with his photo bombing 😄 gotta be a part of the vid somehow hah. I liked that you’ve changed it up a bit and put an interior only vid in as well, but another nice end result, well done Mitch 😁
@@charlottehorak6998 us kids were taught very young to respect the family car. And to try not to make a mess. My kids were taught the same, our cars never looked like this, and when a nasty spill or burger flipped open on the back seat, it was cleaned up in short order. Small paper bags were kept in the car so all trash went in them , and tossed in the trash when we got home. Easy, if you let things get out of hand, you wind up with a car. Or house, looking like this.
What do you do with all the spare change you find? Do you have a giant bucket that you just add to after every detail? That would be pretty funny to see how much you find in a given year.
Hey detail geek do you ever wear those waterproof slip on shoes out to the clubs? They are fresh bro. Anyway next time I’m in Saskatchewan I would love to have a beer with you and mike and we can tell old detailing stories
Great work as always. That loose glove box was driving me nuts 😂 I used the Meguiars sythetic sealant on my truck last week and the depth of color that bad boy brings out is incredible for being such an easy product to use and the gloss is out of control. We've had a few days of rain on and off and it looks like i just washed it. Keep up the good work amigo 🤙
I think what I don't get is the lack of removal of the old food. I can understand not having the time or ability to entirely detail your own car, but it takes five minutes at the end of the week to bring the rubbish into the bin. It probably took longer to buy and set up all those air freshners to mask the smell.
Somehow stumbled across your channel and I CANT STOP WATCHING!!! It’s so relaxing watching you extract the carpets and your arms are beautiful and I- I’m driving to Canada. That’s what I’ll do
great vids. Have a question. Just bought a 2019 kia sorento. Like to start caring for it now. Do I polish or wax. Paint is in good shape. Please respond.
Fantastic job. Can't tell you how appreciated your videos are in these stressful times. Nice to see something being transformed so well--we all need a lift these days!
Your brother's peek-a-boos were hilarious....the first one literally scared the crap out of me...was not expecting that at all!! 😂😂 But as always, I still enjoyed the video 😁
Love this one! I try to watch the other detailing channels, but my OCD kicks in and they just don't do it right! You have the patterns and methods that the others don't. Thank you!!! ❤️🤓
