My name is Shyvonne (Sha-Von). I'm a wife & mother of 6 amazing kids. I love having a big family and wouldn't trade it for the world. I have 5 daughters and 1 son, ages 22-6. For his posters on the wall you should frame them. The thin frames do not cost much and his postures will like alot nicer on the wall. We did this for my son and he really liked it.

You know he has to be happy that his room is so nice and clean. Its like a small apartment with that cool fireplace. I wouldn't do a loft bed. Heat rises and he will smother in the summer.

Growing up my two brothers had a cleaner room than me and my sister. When they got grown they still kept their places very clean. One brother is living and he is still very clean. My mother taught all her kids how to really clean not only the top layer but also under and around. You are the same way. You go girl teaching your kids the right way to clean.

I have 5 grandsons and 1 granddaughter and the boys are more organized than my PRINCESS! She has her room always messy not dirty but just things all over the place. The boys love when I come over and help them rearrange.....Love to see Chris help you with his room

Shyvonne, you are such a wonderful mother. My Mom would never help us clean our rooms when we were younger. She held us accountable for our own rooms and we had chores every day. If we did our chores and Mom found it unacceptable, she would make us do it all over. I am one of 6 kids. We had grandparents that lived with us plus our parents. 10 people living in our house. Laundry was a nightmare. Mom washed the clothes and us girls hung everything out on the wash lines in the yard. Then, when everything was dry, we brought it in the house to fold and put away. In the video, you said Chris’ room was the hottest room in the house. I wonder f you thought about getting him an a/c window unit to cool his room down. I am sure he would rest better at night. Just a thought.

Your son room reminded me of my son room when he was a kid. His room was so messy at times. He would throw tantrums when I tried to get him to clean it up. Now he's married with kids of his own,and he is going through the same thing with his daughters.

That air purifier is an essential at night for allergies. We have tree pollen in the spring so I put it on overnight and I sleep so well. No itchy throat or eyes and a good rest. Great video teenagers rooms are hard to do x

I've had exactly the same conversation with my 12 year old daughter about the order of drawers I explained you have undies and socks at the top as you put these on first then your top then bottoms.... it just makes sense 🤣🤣 honestly I thought it was just me being a little crazy 🤪 so glad you do it too x

You guys did a great job! I have to say that he is growing up so you have to give him a little space to make his own decisions or he will rebel, like when you were telling him how to specifically place items in his drawers instead of saying well this is how I organize mine, but you may want to do yours differently. just as long as the clothes are folded in the drawer is the end game, mommys lol Yea he needs a new mattress and pillows. I know it can be expensive, but I have personally tried the Linenspa brand from amazon and I was very, very pleased with my purchase for a little over a hundred dollars.
