I agree. I keep my male dwarf lop 3 and a half month in the bathroom and entry to the walk in closet area (until he gets neutered, then he will have the entire walk in closet and I clean it every day..around noon and 9 after I put him in his sofa box (also temporary..after he is neutered he will have an xpen) and it is a workout cleaning it..(I am not in my 20s and 30s like most bunny YTers). Most of the commenters on another bunny platform are about 12 or 13 and they just think bunnies are cute and do not realize that they are just as high maintenance as a dog (just in a different way). The picture of highly made up RU-vidrs with immaculate houses sends the message that bunnies are easy and that whether free roam or not, owning a bun is low maintenance; it is not. And today I replied to a comment by someone on a different channel that said they would like to spay their bunny but they didn't think they could afford it! Pets are almost like children and if you do not have the $$ to spay/neuter or have at least $500.00 set aside if God Forbid they have to go to a vet for an emergency, one should not have a pet! This (thank goodness) projects a tiny glimpse of what bunny ownership is like.

Hi Love your video. I have two angora bunnies who are free roamed. I know the struggle. To clean, i use a steam vacum cleaner, it's so useful. Love cleaning videos !

This is awesome haha, I always do a deep clean every weekend. I move his area with his litter box and his bed and all his toys haha. It's amazing what you find for sure!

Hey. Thanks for the video. I totally feel you on this! But, honest question; have you ever gotten sick from the pet dander or just all the dust from the hay? Like, I was reading that you get upper respiratory problems or whatever from all the pet dander. Like, I haven’t had an issue when I had my bunny for the first couple months. I’m sick now, but I’m like wondering if it makes it worse.
What an appropriate Sunday video! I work Monday through Fridays in a warehouse for close to 12 hours a day, so I tend to clean my studio every Sunday. Basically I started your video, and cleaned right along with you. I know you didn’t actually clean on Sundays, but still, I felt like I wasn’t alone haha. I love how real you are with us. Let's be honest, buns can make a lot of mess in quite short time. My bun has a blanket on windowsill, because he loves laying there and no amount of vacuuming and washing it helps, it's constantly covered in fur. But I've accepted it, I prefer to have a happy bunny and mess than unhappy bunny and clean apartment

How cute Cinnabun approved. I would like to share some Diy cleaning alternative solutions to use for anyone interested. Simple recipes below. Glass Surfaces & Window Cleaners: 5 T. Lemon juice 2 Liters H2o (approx. 8 cups) Mix together, and put in a spray bottle. All-purpose Floor Cleaner: 1 C. Vinegar 4 C. Water Simply combine 1 cup of vinegar and 1 liter of water and mop your floors. (Add a few drops of essential oils if you like) There is no need to rinse but if you want to brighten and add a shine to the surface of your floor after it dries mop it again with club soda. This inexpensive and easy-to-make solution cuts through grease and grime. Angel from The Bay

Thank you for the honesty and transparency 🙏 I have a 418 dollar rug, made of natural materials, that has permanent stains from squeezed cecotropes, and its never gonna look good again - I have smaller washable rugs laying on top of those areas, to hide the damage. It’s clean, but it’s something I do feel a bit ashamed about. That’s just part of having pets though❤
You can use diluted vinegar and water solution to clean, very pet safe and no chemicals. Also if you wanted to clean the floor you could use a steam cleaning mop, it’s great for getting getting hay dust off the floor.

I live with my family but my bun lives in my room most of the time so I do a good deep clean every other week. Have to or my room when smelling like a barnyard! Bunnies are adorable but pretty messy and can be destructive too.

Do you have to take bunnies to the vet to see if they’re deaf? I have a lop baby so she’s at risk but she definitely seems hard of hearing. if they’re going to do tests I can do myself then I don’t want to pay for that
i feel you. i have two guinea pigs, and they are in a cage ( guinea pigs can be in cages, as they are smaller) and they get mess everywhere. they like fling poop on the ground- and it’s honestly gross. i know rabbits and guinea pigs are very different, but they are also alike.
