And that mud is from rain and clay dust you can find in different parts of the states. Edit, its typical mud if you drive it down a lane etc after a rain storm that followed draught

The only thing I would accuse you of staging is how long snow foam stays on an entire pickup. By the time I have contact washed the roof, hood, and one side of the pickup the other side has no foam left on it and I need to re-foam it.

Staged or not, does the cleaning process change? On top of that i’m sure that we all know that there are people out there that are super disgusting and that don’t take care of that car so even if he was making up a story and staged a bunch of his details what does that matter?

(Devils advocate warning) For the record, I enjoy these videos staged or not. But I don’t think it’s good practice. Why we care if detailing videos are staged: ONE reason I care if the state of the car is staged because of use case. Cleaning a car that is covered in mud is something some people may never come across. It may look good for the thumbnail, and the mud is real and cleans as such. But the products used for something this dirty isn’t what the average person will use. Someone watches these videos over and over and they will think this is the way to clean a car every time. You probably don’t need multiple brushes and extreme apc for cleaning a daily driver (except maybe the first time you wash them). High gloss graphene wax isn’t going to matter on an 10 year old Scion xB (lol). But someone may want to wash it still. They should learn about paint preservation and minimizing the amount of chemicals they use. Entertaining or not, the video is also INFORMATIVE. And so the creators should strive to use best practices for the average person. Protect your paint people! Thanks for reading! Again I like this channel and I use their products. I’m just kinda sick of the “Who cares if it’s staged?” argument.

My favorite part of these detailing videos is definitely the seat extractions. For some reason it is so satisfying to watch all that grease and grime getting removed from those seats and seeing them return to the original colors. Nice Job brother

I think the writing on the windshield is when the repo company puts it on there as an identification number for the lot, or when it goes to auction. Kinda like an inventory thing. A lot number as I might say. But how that mud got there afterwards is a mystery (staged or not, sorry). But otherwise, great job as always for cleaning this thing up.

Question…. You use a lot of soap and steam on the interior. Is there any risk with electrical components such as window switches etc? Love the video!

Idk about soap but I can answer about steam Steam uses very little water It’s a mixture of water, heat, and air. You can also move quickly so it doesn’t damage one spot. Compressed air can then blow it out of electric components. Only thing I am not sure of is if the heat in steam does damage to those electronics. They are much hotter than when the sun beams down on them on a sunny day. For soap if I had to take a guess it’s because compressed air or dry steam (just air and heat) can blow it out.

I see no point in such a professional not willing to tell you he has staged this vehicle to be as messy as possible by his doing or children. If so, I see him having legit reason to tell you that while also having strong foundation to use that staging to teach us how you clean and detail such cars made so messy - staged or not. No need to attack the man and accuse him of fraud. He's still a master detailer teaching you how well his products work. The Product is the point!

not sure but from the many detailing videos i've watched it's mostly fine to pressure wash the engine bay on modern cars, they mostly use some kind of cleaner and microfiber towels on old cars (idk for sure tho)
