6:26 I think it’s so cool that you found this. Someone found this same piledriver while labbing the room for speedruns a few months ago and it saves 0.3-0.4 compared to slams
Wow great job on this! As somebody who just did this on jhon gutter for the first time yesterday, it amazes me how people are able to do amazing runs like this with how difficult all of these sections look!
since he's doing every level in order, i'm sure he'll go back and do earlier levels that are impossible with peppino and possible with noise after, crust cove was a special case in that it was the level he was doing next and it just so happened to be possible with him as well in the meantime, you can check out my list of levels that are possible with noise in my comment on this video
That's actually insane... Also, I'll try to see if there is anyway to actually beat it in the Noise update as Peppino (and also as the Noise). Good video Gengar, also you kinda sounded tired, idk why I think so.
hey, i did every level as noise with this challenge (with savestates) here's what i found John Gutter- Possible Pizzascape- Probably impossible (i did get close once on the keydoor room) Ancient Cheese- Maybe (got stuck on the first room where "Put On A Show!" plays) Bloodsauce Dungeon- Possible Oregano Desert- Impossible Wasteyard- Possible Fun Farm- Possible Fast Food Saloon- Probably possible (got stuck on the first weenie room) Crust Cove- Possible Gnome Forest- Possible Deep Dish 9- Probably impossible (got stuck in the first room of the orange planet) Golf- Possible Pig City- Possible Peppibot Factory- Possible Oh Shit- Probably Impossible (got stuck in a room, don't know how to describe it) RRF- Possible Pizzascare- Possible Don't Make A Sound- Possible WAR- Maybe (got stuck on the second room of the Lab section)
i'm not sure. someone better than me like yottacat can probably find some other obscure speedrun tech to use there, but for me it's just easier to downpatch.
