ive no idea why every youtuber defaults to angry ear bleeding noise whenever they do 303 videos. the acid sound is a deeply immersive and soulful sound in the right hands.
I too have noticed that many famous youtubers actually post trash even with high-end gear. I guess most of them make music just for the fun of it, without actual knowledge / musical taste (and that's totally fine imo), but i gotta say, it helped me realize it's not about the gear and my wallet couldn't be happier.
I love the recreation of the sounds, and references to old tunes (most are new to me). Maybe you could do a video on which kit you need to get started (old kit? New equivalents? Pc software?).
