I think the measurment that sticks out for me the most is how close the ATA is at full draw compared to the long ATA bows. Shows why it feels so stable at full draw!!
The Bowtech SS34 is similar in that the limbs don't deflect much at all while at full draw. The A to A stays very long at full draw. This is one reason why the SS34 is such an amazing shooting bow, super forgiving, etc.
Pse call it full draw stability, I'm pretty sure this ideas been around for awhile they even said with the omnia it feels longer ata and dl but I've notice on my pse mach 34 the limbs move more backwards towards me than down, the limbstance at full draw looks really cool in drawboard, but the longer string angle dosnt really make a more stable platform if they had done a 35,33 inch and 31 would of been better off but yeah I think the technology has been around for a couple years.
when I got my ss34 I asked the rep about it and he said they only bend about 3/4 of an inch. Thats the least that I've seen. The phase 4 , the limbs bend ALOT!! It's crazy looking.
Exactly. A couple years ago I watched a guy shoot a V3 27 and the limbs deflected so much that the cam was only an inch from the riser at full draw. I have noticed that the Prime Revex also has very little limb deflection, similar to the SS34. Interesting how different the manufacturers set things up!@@michaelbushey2787
I'm getting one. I've been shooting the elite energy 35 for almost 10 years. Was about to buy the omnia and now I'm glad I didn't. I had a feeling something awesome was about to come out. I was planning on buying a new hoyt or mathews next year. But now I'm buying the ethos. I don't even have to shoot it to know I'm getting it. I've shot the e35 for so long that if it replicates what it does but with modern features....I'm sold 👍🏼 huge win for Elite. Thanks for listening to the customers on this one. I'm still going to restring and put new sights on the good ol e35 after season. I'm just now seeing wear on the rubber string silencers. Still using factory string btw🤣🤣🤣 because elite string is just that good.
Exactly the bow I’ve been waiting for. I love my E35 and fell in love with the hold of the Remedy. The Omnia was the best bow I’ve ever shot. The Ethos is the perfect confluence of those three bows.
In 2015 it was a choice between the E35 or the Synergy, I love my Synergy. I have not shot another bow since. I'm sure if I shoot the Ethos there will be a huge difference in feel after the shot. I have been waiting for few years to replace my Synergy. I believe it is now. I really don't care about integration accessories. happy Elite Focuses on the important stuff.
I hunt from a saddle... I shoot my v37 from my knees and im good... I reallly love elite... but man yall got me on the fence to get a different brand bow. was even gonna spring for the Verdict... but no camo... and the Riser makes it sit nicer as well. just like longer ata... maybe i will take my kure and see if there is a big difference... i doubt it
Just picked one up!! Any chance you guys could do an updated deep dive into adjusting cam mods, draw length, & let off? I know there are videos out there, but they are somewhat difficult to see what's actually being done. Really enjoy the new bow! Shoots great!!
I was thinking what my ultimate "Elite" bow would be after last years releases. The ideal specs in my mind are identical to this bow. People are upset about accessories and mounting options lacking...these couldnt be lower on my priorities...if i can attach my hamskea and spot hogg, I'm happy. I'm currently shooting Mathews Traverse ...this Ethos seems the goods to me.
Thanks Nathan. This is not a complaint as the Ethos looks terrific. But I am still searching for a elite bow that is as comfortable as my V37 but with all the tech of my Remedy. Will a shorter ata Verdict be offered?
Nathan, when are the “engineers” gonna build us a set of limb legs for these new bows, similar to the Mathews Engage limb legs that keeps the whole bow off the ground??? It’s easily the best accessory made from any bow manufacturer. I’m sick of seeing all these bows with chipped and scratched bottom cams from sitting them down on grass, mud, gravel and concrete. They would sell a ton of em and could be built pretty easily with all the access to design and manufacturing you guys have at The Outdoor Group.
Solid explanation. Since I shoot my Elite bows at 80% let off, with the draw length at 26.75, would it make sense for me to look at the Ethos or its new twin? Best wishes!
You'd be better off with the kairos it's the sort draw version of this bow you would be in the middle of the cam, on the ethos you would be at the bottom but both would be sweet bows, I shoot 27.5- 28 and I would definitely pick the kairos for the extra speed
Kairos would be your better option for performance. If you are strictly a bowhunter and not shooting over 60 lbs, don’t sleep on the Allure. It’s not a “ladies” bow. It’s a bow specifically designed to fit short draw shooters. It’s only issue is the max draw weight offered is 60#.
Not saying those things aren’t good, but I guess I don’t see the benefit. If you want arrows to remain in the quiver and touch the riser, ok. But that can be done currently with a tight spot quiver. And if you are a whitetail hunter that takes your quiver off when you get to the stand then that didn’t help. If you put any sight on a pic rail and use a rest that integrated you’ll still need a side bar to balance out the bow. So i can’t see where it makes a functional difference. I can see the fad… but is that all it is?
