What he does at the end- you are calling "rap" was a ,"black" jazz style called scat singing,.the notes are more important than words. Etta James and Louis Armstrong are examples I recall
Yeah, of course I know what scat is, but did the singer know, or was he paying homage? Rap goes all the way back to 20s black performers, and some was passed through blues and rock. I was was just hinting for those who would catch it. lol.
This song is not the best of the group, it is not even the best on the side of the album where it is located, because there is also Speed King and Child In Time. Although I love Bloodsucker very much, like all of In Rock.
