This is what the boys would call a “certified dwarf classic”

I'll forever remember this song from my most dramatic escape. I was new at the game and was playing as an engi in a complexity 3 or 4 cave. It was huge and there was a lot of verticality. Of course, the escape pod arrived and docked in the highest place possible in the map. The crew all got to the pod but I got lost. In the panic and in darkness, I frantically tried to find my way up through the tunnels the driller had made, while getting swarmed by insects. I finally saw the entrance to the tunnel up the driller had made, but with impatience I jumped but fell like 50m through a hole, died and got swarmed with insects. At this time the timer marked 1min left and I though it was all lost. I said "fuck it", took my hands of the keyboard and laid my back against the chair. Then, all of a sudden, that chad of a scout, who was already in the ship, came back and resurrected me. We ended up rushing to the pod and got in at the last second. No kidding, we got in and the doors closed. Legendary honestly, never sweated has much since One of the best games I've played

Everyone loves 1:28 but no one talks about how great it is to hit 2:13 as the drop pod leaves with everyone on board

Whenever 1:30 drops during the reboot phase of a Salvage Operation, or waiting for the minehead to return to orbit on Point Extraction I am reminded of why this is one of my favorite games I have ever played.

I’ve only been playing DRG for like a week and a half and it’s already among the best games I’ve played this year.

This song is amazing because it sneaks up on you. The buildup is so subtle, and hardly even sounds like the climax of the song, and you don’t even realize how much you actually hear it. Then, at the perfect moment, it jumps out and gives you that perfect boost of energy before fading out. Poifect.

1:27 PoV: You hear nothing but the rhythmic thump thump of my Thunderhead Heavy Autocannon dispense dwarven fury against the wall of bugs, buying the scout enough time to revive you. There's not much time before the drop pod leaves but we leave no dwarf behind in this household!

Robot Getaway is on my top 3 tracks alongside with RUN! and Dance of the Dreadnought. But I like others too (Ode to the Fallen and Molly one are top love)

Objectively the best track in the entire game. Robot Getaway _is_ Deep Rock Galactic. Also, everyone always praises the drop, but the minute-thirty of buildup is done perfectly to get your heart pounding for the extraction, making the drop all the sweeter.

This is the same level as subnautica’s “Abandon ship” but in DRG. Memorable, high intensity, and amazingly well crafted. Perfection.

1:25 you play as a Shooter, you're running for a supply drop to replenish your ammo unexpectedly suddenly your friends are disabled, you were 70 meters away from the drop pod for seconds before the evacuation. 1:30 You throw a shield, raise your friends, they run away, and you epicly shoot off the swarm to protect your friends and successfully completing the mission. Rock and stone. Bosco, pour the fat oaf colder.

I will always consider this THE extraction song. None of the others has ever given me the same vibe. It gives the urgency, the desperation, and the feeling of making that last stand so perfectly. Especially that bit at 1:30. It just hits it perfectly.

The best part of this is when you leave with the drop pod right as 1:30 hits and your soul just *ascends*

This is my favorite soundtrack, I love it.

On site refining.. rocket filling.. bugs..more bugs .. teeth!.. everywhere!! C4 detonate predator style. Screaming with delight at the pure rock and stone .. revived by team mates.. rocket takes off.. such an epic moment to this :)

Last night. 30 seconds to launch. One of us had prematurely called the drop pod so we got rushed as soon as a swarm began. Our gunner died 50 meters from the pod. Me (driller) and our scout rush out to rescue him, knowing damn well we won't make it. While we were able to revive him, the drop pod left. Our engie got on and salvaged the mission. We couldn’t all get out, but we at least revived the gunner. Gonna do better next time

Just a few hours ago me and my team, me an Engineer, my brother a driller and my best friend a scout finished a morkite mission. We forgot one thing... ammo so we hit the button on molly and started to head back. Problem we were lost so needless to say we were panicing but my brother steps up and begins to drill towards the dropship. 3 minutes left 200 m up to go. Second problem glyhids lots of em all coming up the tunnel. Me and the scout pull out our weapons when it hits us. Were low on ammo. I only had 37 bullets in my stubby and he only had 2 shells in his shotgun. We used all our primary ammo. 2 minutes left 120 m up to go. I switch to my secondary, my newly acquired breach cutter 3 shots left I got rid of as many as I could, my heart sank as my ammo dropped to zero. 1 minute left 50 m to go we realized we weren't gonna make it, the bugs were gaining on us. Thats when the hero of the story showed up my brother was running the beast master perk. As the bugs grew closer and our pickaxes wouldn't suffice he stepped forward. Stevee ran in and bought us as much time as he could. 30 seconds 10 m left. My brother made it through we made it in but we at what cost. I know he was just a bug but to us he was another dwarf. Rock And Stone Stevee. You will be missed.

Just had a game where we fought tooth and nail to kill the last Dreadnought. Go to extract, no ammo, no grenades, no nothing. Right as 3 of our team gets to the drop pod, our Driller (who was pretty intoxicated, to be fair) goes down 100 meters away. So what do we do? Right as 1:20 of the song hits, all 3 of us leave and somehow manage to drag him back to the Drop Pod with only 30 seconds and a LOT of bugs left, with nothing but our pickaxes to defend ourselves. No dwarf left behind. No matter the odds.

I remember going to a mission drunk while playing on console, shit didnt go well I was a driller We had to hack some shield generators for our mission, but drones spawned and, well, i could not even aim properly and had to bug-spray em with fire, but as i couldnt reach them with the flames, i had to use the pistol, and as i missed every shot, my team was already done and gone That day was a baaad day
