Hey Jack, I’ve had numerous back surgeries, sporting titanium and screws in my spine now. I can relate to the recovery and PT it took to get to this day on the boat! I’m super proud of you and never let anything stop you from doing whatever you want in life. 💯❣️👍🏻
Thank you Robert for introducing my grandson from Texas and your avid follower; Dodge Culpepper, on your Alaska fishing video! Dodge was so excited to finally get to meet his RU-vid idol in person, it was definitely a highlight on his stay in Alaska! 😍 👍
Been watching you since I was 16 I’m now 22 just finished my masters degree and successfully secured my first job Thank you for teaching me so many things along the way and hopefully I haven’t made you feel too old haha thank you rob
Been going to millers landing since I was 5. 39 now. The memories always stick with you. Your kids will always remember these times. As a Alaskans sometimes we take our great state for granted. Have to reset and remember we live in a amazing state. Great video like always.
Had to comment about the exhaust fan in the RV. Vent on the outside has to be opened for the fan to exhaust to the outside if not all it does is recirculate back inside. Learned this after 4 years of having one and not knowing about it! Excellent video as always and Alaska trip is amazing!
I remember when I was working at Army recreation camp in the 80ties. We would cook Halibut over a open fire in a big tin can. A old fruit can. We folded the lid of the fruit can. Using for a handle. Then filled with oil and beer battered the the fish. Then set can on one of the burning logs. Best fish I ever eat.
Man I know that feeling. Almost better than Christmas morning! How cool it is to see you guys in action. It counts having a great captain to put you on fish. Long time fan from Bama!
My unforgettable trip was going on the Kalex out of Bud and Mary's in Islamorada and I caught a 60lb black grouper! Your channel brings back amazing memories and makes me want to create more with my kids!
@@deermeatfordinner we did yellowtail to our limit in about 10 minutes for 5 people, it was just drop the bait and pull back and you've got a fish! I want to go out on a charter with the drone and a polarized lens and just nail em! 👌🏻
Robert, Alot of people say the south is God's country, but I believe you and your family are visiting his home! Breath taking scenery and I'm sure unforgettable experiences. God bless you and your family! Thank you for sharing the experience with all of us.
Hello Mr Robert Arrington, it's has been truly fun n inspiring to watch all your RU-vid videos sponsored by deer meat for dinner. I have been watching your videos to go out fishing on land or offshore with a boat. Seeing you reel in, halibut, salmon, ling cod, trout, burbot, permit fishing with warren sapp, watching you cast netting has been fun. I do encourage you to make more of your deer meat for dinner videos as I'll be expecting to see new ones get posted on RU-vid. Oh yea, my name is Darryl Azean by the way n I'm from Alaska
Robert you guys rock with your fishing that is a great adventure for the 2 girls as well thanks for keeping us entertained. Been watching you guys over 3years well done
Fishing for halibut is my top of the bucket list I would love nothing more in this world to catch and cook and eat one but the way my health has been getting handed out to me lately I don't know if I will make it so thank you Robert for getting there and doing it for me.❤❤❤
Thank you, Robert and Sara, for making Dodge's trip to Alaska one to remember. He is still so excited that he got to meet you all. Thank you for including him in your video. He is on cloud nine right now! 💙
So jealous!!!😂 but happy I can live vicariously through you and your family. Still waiting to see the reaction of some island recipes... God bless you all, love from Guam 😁
Robert and Sara and their kids are such beautiful people.. Anyone who has gotten to meet them and go fishing with them are lucky.. I'm waiting for the day that my husband and I get to meet these wonderful people. 💕 Love watching this wonderful family.. Glad you boy got that chance.. I don't blame him for being on cloud nine lol..
Love me some Montaghue Island critters on light tackle- particularly the rockfish and lingcod. We fish ‘em using slow pitch rods and jigs- so much fun. I’m headed up in a week to fish thru Labor Day- can’t wait. Glad you left us a few. 👍
I'm just an old boy from Arkansas but I tell you what I sure really appreciate all the videos you do it makes me want to move to Florida but I do love Arkansas thank you for what you do Robert
Love the video! Jake fishing for halibut after his surgery is amazing for him to be in the boat fishing with deermeatfordinner. God bless you and your family!
@@westcoastnightmares5522 that isn't Rob commenting. He is aware there is a spammer but RU-vid won't fix it. Rob is an awesome guy and wouldn't put out bogus "prizes". Blessings!
Not saying that Robert is a bad guy ! I watch every video posted and would be awesome to get to hunt or fish with him some day! Just trying to make aware so others dnt give in!
@@westcoastnightmares5522 oh I didn't think you were saying anything bad! Haha! I get so annoyed with the scammers and spammers too. Rob is a great guy and the fact RU-vid won't block the spammers is frustrating!
If it was oily, it was more likely a true cod (Tomcod). Rockfish is not a cod, but is wonderful white flaky fish, with little to no “fishy” taste if fresh. Livin life here in the coastal redwoods of SW Mendicino County, Ca.
Hey Deermeat BTDT with those very long Alaskan days it can be rough but it can also be so very fun! Glad to seen you are living it up in one of the last great wildernesses!
