I need to give this a try at the lake. There are spots where I get snagged on what feels like nothing. I can cast the same area dozens of times before I get caught on whatever is down there.

I'm not sure if the 10%works in Japan. Give it a try. To be honest, I liked bothe the Pro+2 and the Chirp+ 2 The chirp sonar is better than the normal sonar in the pro but the pro is more recent so the software in it is the latest and greatest... Its up to you.

It's less about the speed and more about having the top of the deeper being outside the water. So if you can mount it so it stays at the top of the water then ita fine. If you dragging it and it goes under the water then pops up, every time the Deeper dips under the surface you will loose connection
It depends what I'm looking for and how deep the water is. If in doing just a general scan I'd us the 45 but if I'm looking for something that I know is there, I'll use the 20 then 7
Guys, the Deeper does not need a wifi or data signal from your phone to operate. It connects to your phone using a wifi signal that the Deeper generates. So no matter where you are it will always be able to connect to your phone. Does that make sense?
@@ItsTippToppFishing do you mean wifi connected from deeper pro to connect to the phone without any data right? if you are in the ocean you dont have any network signal right its means that deeper pro have it own wifi connection to connect any mobile phones andriod or Os.

The Deeper creates its own wifi Hotspot. So you can be in the middle of the ocean and if your phone is within 100m of the Deeper, you will be comnected
Hi. I got my deeper pro+2. I have used it once. How/where do you go for setting and choose between 4 modes options. I’m getting more confuse, maybe I’m just too slow how to use it! 😅.
Then you must have not used it properly. Because I have honestly used it for years and my phone has never come out once. It's to the point where it's almost a party trick where I shake my rod over the water to make people panic about my phone but it never comes off. I'm very sorry about your phone and I didn't get to see how you mounted it but from my perspective the phone mount is bloody solid
