I got my Vista x from Richard and spent 3 days while it's being shipped and watched all the videos to pick up technique and read the manual it'll make a big difference and it was short enough to learn curve to maybe one trip
I had one and gave it away, it was the least liked hand digger I’ve ever used. The handle was way to thin and had zero grip, if the ground had any moisture your hand would slide right down it and destroy your fingers and knuckles
I love it, but I never even got to use it in the field yet. I had a bunch of emergency heart problems which benched me, finally Covid cleared enough and had heart surgery in June, and I’m cleared to start detecting again on September 21st. It’s gonna be featured on a video then.
@@derwoodvw Thanks brother! I'm almost back to normal, walking at least 2 miles a day and can't wait to start using my arms again. I have the GoPro batteries charged and itching to get back out. I have a couple permissions lined up for my detecting grand re-opening, and can't wait to get that trigger on video.
Thanks! Barely anyone in the U.S. uses it, but I'm in love with it. My brain is my worst enemy when digging, I'll use a VDI to talk myself out of digging. Speaking of digging, I dig your channel, just checked it out and subscribed.
@@Ferrous_Bueller hahaha I know what you mean! Some times i get a great signal but its saying scrap on the VDI and I'm like hmmm should i or shouldn't i lol.. thanks for subbing my channel mate its much appreciated! You have a cracking channel!! Keep up the great work and stay safe! TMDC
Thanks! I'm actually getting off my arse and putting up a bunch more, and I have a Garrett Apex delivering and getting ready to put that through it's paces
