I thank you for your service also. I worked as a security contractor because they would not let me enlist. I had bone cancer in 1987 at 9 years old. They had to remove a tumor the size of a softball from my knee. Because i had surgery on my knee they wouldn't let me serve. Still at 45 years old if they gave me the chance i would go in a split second. I would make sniper or die trying. My father was a green beret sniper, and all his friends were a sniper of some kind, some military and some police. Snipers are the most honorable men on this planet. They hold themselves to the highest standards of any man alive. I thank you for that example. I try to be honorable in everything i do. That is why i wanted to enlist as either a ranger sniper or force recon sniper, to learn that level of honor first hand. Yeah i was a sharp shooter for the security contractor i worked for but that is not the same as an enlisted sniper. Again thank you.
@@LunkersTVI have psoriasis on my hands and it makes it hard for me to hold onto a fishing pole. I have an idea that might work it involves a glove with the hook side of velcro and the latch side on the pole, and spinning reels with a bigger knob. Just trying to get myself and more people fishing.

Oklahoma is such a good place to build a pond/lake. Reasoning is because of the vast amounts of clay that is around. My uncle who owns a piece of land is just littered with clay and I'm definitely thinking about getting a big plot and constructing my own 10-20 acre lake. A dream indeed but willing to chase and work for it!

You need to put down some road fabric and cover it with some kind of gravel material. With road fabric, you can get away with running ABC stone (crusher run).

I have always liked heavy for caliber bullets, especially for shorter ranges (under 200 yards). I would probably look to shoot something like a 200-220 grain A-frame, Partition, or Accubond for those types of shots. Regardless, nice shot and love your content, keep posting. First time to your channel. I started watching for some deer content but saw a guy with a PSA card and thought it was an ad. This may be the only ever youtube video to contain a graded sports card and a dead deer.
Imagine all the new subscribers and people just ome time clicking on this video and probably going 'Oh this guy doesn't know what he's doing' 'He can't shoot at all' 'He can't work a rifle like that' and none of them realize that he is a former sniper with confirmed kills in Iraq and Afghanistan.
If those are the largest deer you have seen you really need to come up here in northern Ontario. That is tiny. I would welcome you to come hunt one season with us but no one in our group is going to want videos or be on camera. If you want to come for a real hunt off camera let me know.
