If you plan on sticking out and away from the tree that far up, gonna need to be up at least 20 feet. Them saddles will get you pegged real quick anywhere 14 feet and lower.
I rotate 90 degrees around the tree and kneel into it. I find it’s even more stable and it cuts down on my profile keeping most of me behind the tree. Biggest issue I’ve found with getting used to shooting from a saddle is not twisting your bow out of level.
I sit with my knees against the tree while waiting, and then when it's time to shoot, I lean like this. It's actually wicked comfortable to! As for heights I'm sure with practice you could get over them.

When I first started a few yrs ago I did. Now I practice alot and set up in a way that's comfortable to shoot. Leaning back vs resting knees against the tree while shooting changes things to. So you need to figure out what works best for you
I was gonna buy one of theirs until I saw it was made in China after them saying it’s made in the USA and they ship out saddles that are over a year and a half old while still telling people that they need to be replaced 5yrs after manufactured date and then when questioned, they said it’s after 5yrs of use but has a 10yr shelf life. You do you. I'm all set with lugging one around and all the sticks that go with it. A saddle is actually wicked comfy so I wouldn't knock it before trying
