I saw two big does stand up and "duke it out" just outside my dogfence a few years back, and it was incredible- they looked huge. Two little deer started trying to mimick them, which was adorable.
They stand on their back legs to knock stuff out of the trees too. My yard there's apples, grapes and peaches. I've seen a huge buck stand up and use his antlers to knock out stuff so they all can eat it. Freaked me out because it was seen on my cameras I have up for security! It was blury, brown and huge. They paid no attention to me opening the back door with a 12ga in my hand. None at all. Looked at me, went back to shaking the apple tree. It was a fun thing to see.
Came around the bend in Del Monte Forest up in Monterey, CA and had to brake for two deer in the road on a tight curve. They stood there a moment, it was a sheer cliff with a straight down drop on the edge of the road. I worried, 'OMG, they are going to get hit if someone comes around the bend.' If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I would not have believed it. They calmly, and almost in slow motion, reared up on their hind legs and leaped like a helicopter straight up, using their front legs as a support (like putting your hand down to steady yourself up from the ground), and they both went straight up the cliff and disappeared. No problem. I still don't see how they did it.
I don't know the contents of the video because I'm a foreigner, so why do you broadcast a video of eating deer food only in winter?(I wonder why I can't watch it these days.)
