I think kjo knows the facts. All of their beradari including himself went to different European colleges and boarding schools. He has just distorted the facts and painted them madly for the Indian audience to consume. The 90s indian audience who were still not watching web series and world cinema.

Agree it was 20 year old fun song based on a college , hrithik karenna shown just a college cpl whereas srk kajol shown more as mature cpl which is quite normal .. ..even if they react to songs of Shahid Kapoor ishq vishq , they were all cheesy based on college life & most of songs 20 year back like that only just diff is we r watching it in 2021..yes only 1-2 movies like Dil chahta Hain was ahead of it's time during that era.

The movie is not as bad as u think, and i like this movie a lot actually. Well there r many melodramatic scenes but thts culturally not that cringy. I think u should definitely watch this film, Dont listen to anybody and Dont judge it by the songs, maybe u will end up LIKING IT. 😜😜
I dont think they should watch k3g, they won't understand it. Too much family drama. For us Indians, its emotional. For them it will just be stupid. If this song made them feel cringe, then I wonder what would they do if they see poo😄
İ like this movie too. İt's not at all boring, family drama and cheesy elements yeah but it could be handled 😁. İt's got good acting too and a nice plot about the adopted son. Songs and background music is good. All ad all i like this movie.

The relationship between parents and children is extremely different here in India as compared to west. Also, remember they did not like Jab We Met. They did not understand why Geet in that movie is so excited about everything. They did not understand why in Deewana hai dekho song Kareena says Just go and tell who I am.. they dont understand why she has such attitude. They felt cringe. They wont understand why Amitabh is so obsessive about his family prestige, why even after getting a slap from his father, Hrithik is normal, why Kajol wants to touch his father in law's feet; karwachauth, sargi and all that.. K3g is only meant for Indians, just like baghbaan or vivah. For westerners these movies are just stupid😄
In the movie, shahrukh khan is shown way older than Hrithik Roshan. They have a huge age difference in them. While Shahrukh khan's love story starts in India, this song is when Hrithik Roshan moves to London for his studies where he meets Kareena Kapoor. @Sikandorr i'm from Europe, but I always loved this movie and song since i was a kid. We also have cringe movies, a lot of, especially with romantic comedies, so I honestly rather watch this cringe than any movie from my country
I think you should stop expecting every indian movie to be only artistic and culturally related. There are all kinds of movies here..light hearted movies like these too!

I love beboo like she always did those chic flick roles, many people hate those but people w great taste sure does, like all those girly stuffs no one could’ve done better than her, like that papà ki pari song, this hole poo role, san sana na nan, kaise piya se, khushi song, lots of other things hich makes me feel I’m on cloud nine, and that’s a great feeling💋
I was waiting for KAUN HAI WO, JISNE MUD KE MUJHE NAHI DEKHA. Poo was one of the first lead female characters in Indian movies who was unapologetic about herself

Hrithik and Kareena were the IT movie couple from the 2000s..their onscreen chemistry was off the charts and they worked in so many films in their careers early...funny thing is Kareena was supposed to debut with Hrithik in his debut movie but she quit that role and did her debut movie with Abhishek Bachchan which also was his debut movie also but it flopped while Hrithik's movie was so successful that it made him a star practically overnight....i sometimes imagine what it would have been if she had made her debut in that movie....ironically they all worked together in another movie which was such an awful movie but great songs....coincidently the never worked with each other again after that....rumors have it that they hated each other while other suggest they got too close while filming back to back movies and Hrithik's wife got so mad that Hrithik had to stop working with her
