A little detail here- She is actually a princess from another kingdom but when she comes to Bajiro's kingdom she got mistaken as a dancer. But she didn't complain and rather does what she is told to do so. Through her song, she is asking, Bajiro to see her love for him. (It's according to the movie) If you liked this then I suggest you watch "Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya" from the movie Mughal e Azam(1960). It's also a pretty good visual feast. There are a lot of interesting fact about the making of the movie and the song. Among them, there is one that the pearl used the mv of 'Pyar Kiya to Darna Kya' were real and expensive. When the producer asked can't we use fake pearl. Then the director replied 'the sound of fake pearl is not good as real one'. Also, the Sheesh Mahal(Glass place) in which the whole mv is shot took 2 years to build and the glass was imported from Belgium.

Actualy it wasn't a golden palace but it was a palace of mirror that's why u can see there was mirror's n it was shinny too n it was kind of ceremony of opening of that palace which was newly made on which the heroin Deepika Padukone was asked to perform n it is historical film based on true love story of their unaccepted lovestory

It took them 6 months to chose the color of the dress of deepika (mastani)
