@Pulse, this game was actually supposed to be the sequel to the WCW Mayhem game for the PS1, but when WCW folded in 2001, that didn't happen. So, they just reskinned it as this game.

Any fighting game using AKI engine is automatically badass! Me and my friends went fuckin' bananas when this and Fight for NY came out, we used to skip class to play this. You should try Rumble Roses too, that had even crazier moves!

If i remember correctly, guile from street fighter played a heavy part in this character design. His hair was originally supposed to be mod-long length. There's pics of it in the walkthrough guide book.

YOOOOOOOOOOOO!! Def Jam games were legit the shit back in the day. I know the Def Jam twitter account teased a possible new game or remake to their old games. I would prefer remaking their old games and keep this style of animation but upgraded.
