Def Leppard - Die Hard The Hunter (Lyrics) Official Remaster from the album "Pyromania" 1983 Facebook page for Hard Rock & Heavy Metal Lovers: / 448168738606400 Facebook page for Melodic Power Metal Lovers: / mpowermetal
There’s a message to be had here. He’s speaking about the troubles that plague the minds of veterans who come home but never really come home. Only some will understand.
Not accurate. The song was about the movie Rambo, the very first one. Joe Elliott literally just posted about this song and how it came about. And for the record from someone who served, being me, not all Veterans who serve in the Military or overseas, or in war come home damaged!! Either physically or emotionally!! I doubt you've ever served!! That's the problem, you get fools who have never served trying to act like they know everything about the Military and those who actually did serve!!
BEST DEF LEPPARD SONG FROM PYROMANIA. ALONG WITH ROCK OF AGES, COMIN UNDER FIRE, ROCK ROCK TILL YOU DROP, TOO LATE FOR LOVE, FOOLIN, PHOTOGRAPH. ACTION, ETC..... FRICKIN LOVE THIS ALBUM TO BITS. 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂👍👍🥁🎸🔔🔔📣📣
Mutt must have seen some really epic musical potential and proficiency in Def Leppard for him to be so hard on them to produce a masterpiece of a hard rock/metal work as this that is still massively talked about and continues to sell 40 years later. This is by far the most explosive track off of Pyromania.
The whole song rocks, but the solo starting at 3:30 and going all the way until 5:17 is especially fire. This is definitely one of Def Leppard's most underrated songs, and the classic rock stations need to play it. Pour Some Sugar on Me is great, but it really is a shame that songs like this one are not their most popular. Pyromania just rocks from cover to cover.
One of my favorite guitar solos of all time. For some reason, the easier and more straight forward (basic) they are, the more I love them. Great example is the solo from the song Gothic by Paradise Lost. That simple solo moves me real good! Thank you for this.
Damn right he's die-hard and proud ! ! Die Hard the hunter is on our side our enemies are sleeping on our soil tonight. I'll take DieHard the Hunter any day of the week. I have his back.
I just commented on "Billy's got a Gun" from you, and then clicked here...and now I'm thinking how excellent this was also! Then, I thought..."Was there a bad song on Pyromania????" Ahhh.....no! Thanks again for the lyrics! (Next up on your list...Rock Rock till you drop!)
@@jordonlongley6576 Most of them! It's kinda like Metallica's "And Justice For All" you can listen to it but it really isn't Metallica! The 1st 3 albums by Leppard are Gold!!!
5:11 LET'S TOAST THE HERO WITH BLOOD IN HIS EYES THE SCARS ON HIS MIND TOOK SO MANY LIVES. DIE HARD THE HUNTER. THIS SONG ALWAYS MAKES ME THINK OF A VIETNAM VETERAN COMING HOME FROM WAR.
I have the greatest respect for war vets all over the world I just want to say to the war vets thanks for your service you all rock, and to those currently serving on the front line, stay safe, get home soon, but most of all everyone of you wherever you are in the world you and the war vets are all heroes to me, keep up the great work you all do and keep kicking terrorist ass.
DEF LEPPARD, UNA BANDA QUE ESTA DENTRO DEL ESPIRITU ORIGINAL DEL HARD ROCK O HEAVY METAL : LA CRITICA O DENUNCIA POLITICO - SOCIAL O REFLEJAR LA DECADENCIA DEL MUNDO ACTUAL O DE LA SOCIEDAD ACTUAL...CANCIONES COMO " DIE HARD THE HUNTER " Y " GODS OF WAR " LO DEJAN MAS QUE CLARITO.
Many things are hard for people to relate to. It see things from a open view few have the mindset to see into others and the truth of reality . Bad things happen and nomatter what it is pain is pain and understanding is the knowledge of being who we where ment to be together. Brothers and sisters who love and care for one another. Life up not tearing down.
Just found this out the other day . .here you go . .Take care: Dolby also worked as session keyboard player on Def Leppard's 1983 Pyromania album. Dolby appeared on Pyromania using the alias Booker T. Boffin,[22] as his affiliation to another record label restricted the use of his real name
My son in law is in the shit!!! Now as a sharp shooter in the US ARMY And this is my song to him get home with pride son!!!! As I did from the US NAVY So many years ago America stands for a reason!!!!
This song was actually inspired by the movie "Die Hard" This album released in 83 at the same "Die Hard" came out. Awesome band! I've seen Leppard several times and they just fucking rock the stage like no other band.
@@natedeanmaan2 What do you think it means? The difficulty of soldiers getting back to normal life? PTDS? "But never take away your attitude" sounds to me like an encouragement to a distraught soldier back from combat.
Soldier is coming for you Soldier is dauntless Soldier is steadfast Soldier is professionally trained to hide, hunt, kill, evade Soldier will not stop at all cost Soldier will die trying Soldier is a killing machine
black6turbo range doesn’t matter in this case, simply the sound and tone of joe Elliot’s voice sounds like Brian Johnson’s, for example someone can sound like Freddie Mercury, but no one will ever have the range and singing capability he had
