Def Leppard are the Rolling Stones of my generation. They have faced down adversities that would have destroyed any other band. Def Leppard provided a great deal of the soundtrack of the lives of millions of us who were part of the ORIGINAL MTV kids. Their perseverance is something of legend and they deserve every accolade they've been given. I can't wait to hear the reimagined versions of these songs.

I recently went to what I thought was a classic rock concert and it was but…. It was a string quartet playing classic rock by candlelight. I’ve seen multiple bands that have gone this route. Styx does it with high school students. It’s very nice to see Rick bands bridging the gap.

There is so much to take out of this.. First off, Hysteria sounds PERFECT for an orchestra. I don't know how any of us would have missed that. Same with Have You Ever Needed Someone So Bad.. Those just scream for an orchestra.. Animal, I have already gone on and on about. I can't begin to fathom how amazing Gods of War will sound.. but did anyone catch how stripped down Pour Some Sugar On Me sounds!?!? Definitely did not see that coming! I haven't been this excited for a DL Album since Adrenalize!

😳WOW! I never knew you could make ‘Love & Hate Collide’ anymore 🤯than its original version. It’s next level beautiful & magical👌🏻. The background vocals, never heard them as clear as ever 😳! ❤the intro by the orchestra, the lead up to the 1st verse. The original was always on top my ‘beautiful playlist’ - this just edges it out by a smidge 🤔. Looking forward to hear the entire album! Well done boys!😎🇦🇺

I applaud what Emm Gryner did with Sugar years ago - she put this spin on it that was so different and so unique that you have to appreciate it and respect it, however, because of my bias toward the song it's not something I could ever enjoy despite acknowledging that. Hearing a clip now of Sugar in this, Leps have put that same kind of spin on it for this record as well, so, please forgive me, I have to say a huge no on that one, but some of the ballads etc., can't wait to hear those! Have You Ever Needed Someone So Bad sounded great, and there are some others I'm anxious for. :)

Not sure if this is some kind of satirical film like Spinal Tap..... but more updated.... Is this actually for real?? Def Leppard have absolutely no right to be anywhere NEAR Abbey Road Studios. I once heard Robert Plant (Led Zeppelin) in an interview years ago talking about the new bands out of England. He didn't mention them by name but it was easy to figure out he was talking about Def Leppard. From Robert Plants point of view Def Leppard was a new band even though had already achieved headliner status and success for over a decade. Plant chided them for writing what he called "pretty songs".
