Here's my take on Hysteria by one of my favorite bands, Def Leppard! I doubled most of the guitar tracks, but included the video for certain sections when the rhythm guitar was playing parts that differed from the lead guitar. For the chorus sections, I tried to play the live version, since I felt it was most fitting (and sounded the coolest to my ears).
For my tones, I both used an SM57 mic and then blended the sound with the direct audio output via my Torpedo Captor/Wall of Sound plugin. I also added in some compression, reverb, and chorus at different parts of the signal chain. Enjoy!
