Just one of the many things I love about Def Leppard, they never split up and quit, and then reunited. Awesome band, proud to be a fan for almost 40 years now!
Been saying this for years. They never gave up on eachother and the songs were always more important than any one member. I never had hero’s, but I’m grateful I’ve always had Def Leppard.
@@rugdnit911 great post, well said. My first ever gig was bon jovi when I was 15 in dublin in the late 80s and at the end of the gig John Bon jovi said I have a special guest and brought on Joe Elliott. I couldn’t believe it as my favourite 2 bands were def leppard and thin lizzy. The okayed one song together..the boys are back town. I could not believe it!!!
It is so freshing to see how excited he still gets when he discusses the band and performing. He is a true class act, and I have been a fan since the 1980's. 🎶👍
This babe are shear quality and really decent people proper singing proper instruments and just a joy to watch and to listen to. I saw the Freddie Mercury concert and when joe sang on tie ya mother down. It was simply brilliant Total respect and as for drastic symphonys. Absolutely brilliant. Keep on rocking. Def Leppard ❤❤
@@JoeElliott-fo8se To be honest, I would be much better if I actually received financial restitution for all of crimes that my infant daughter and I have been subjected to. Otherwise, I am alive, wanting to relocate, wanting to ride my bicycle, run while listening to Def Leppard, Metallica, others, and live in peace. How are things going for you and the band ? I hope all is well, and I sincerely mean that. Have a good night, and be safe. -
Def Leppard has been my sister's fav band since day one. I got front row seats for us to see them in 2019. The seats were next to the catwalk too! I went there liking them and left loving them! They are phenominal live.
Been a dedicated fan since I saw them in 1996 in South Africa. Saw them in Milwaukee last year and got my tickets for Columbus Ohio in August. Amazing musicians, wonderful human beings and the music just gets better and better ❤️💕💪💪❤️😘
Duuude. I have no doubt they’re your fav, they’re mine. Saw them in 1988. That one album they had…Hysteria tour. Then, saw then on the Adrenalize tour and some small places in between. They are awesome live. However, Hysteria tour really was the best. Maybe cause Steve. Oh yeah. Your profile name is after Ratt!! I was going to tease you, but got sidetracked talking about the boys. 🤘🏼Ratt kicks ass too! Wanna hear about the time I introduced them onstage? Okay, I’ll stop. Lol
I really Like them Mainly their old stuff, doin some research because i plan on uploading a Video talking about Def Leppard. and NO their stuff has gotten better it's gotten Worse.
@@therealwilfreddierkes9980 I've seen Def Leppard in a total of 21 times. First time was in the round 1988 with queensryche opening up. The adrenalized tour in the round was great also. I do miss Steve Clark though he was the man, but Vivian Campbell not a bad replacement.
Like him saw them years ago before they was famous in back street rock club the laff in Wolverhampton time to get his hair cut now or styled lots like a old lady
@@RealJoeelliottofficial you can stay on Google Chat and pretend to be Mickey Mouse for all I care.. anyone reading this he is not Joe!!!!! A scammer after your $$$$. Hope he is caught and put in jail where he belongs.
Thanks for posting this video. Great interview with Joe. I'm from Sheffield and didn't manage to get tickets to the Leadmill, but listening on the radio!
I really appreciate The music that they have done with their lives, and they have proved that a band can do anything as a group and never gave up, I admire them very much 💗
" Simon and Garfunkel- there is just two of them and they can't get on." Page 76, Life Magazine. I just love that. The magazine was an eye- opener to the beginnings of fame and what it took to get there. Glad you recovered your voice. I love the platinum hair.
@@joeelliott5539 I have been a fan since 1980 and will continue because you have never been anything but respectful and loyal to your fans in return for the little bit of love we’ve given over the years.
And why is that? It's not reliving the glory days... There is nothing like the 80s rock out there. It's not wrong to continue enjoying a genre of music? I don't think Dolly Parton is reliving her glory days. If a band reunites and then performs to back tracks...THAT is reliving a glory day and I would be savage to pay $$$ and go see a lipsync back track concert. A new album is not reliving...it's new music.
I barely talk to fans but create out time to get in touch with few and lucky fans You're most welcome fan Thanks for being a fan of mine May God bless you all for your kindly support, for how long have you been my fan?
I wish they would do what Dolly Parton did! She made a rock album singing duets with Rock Singers!!! Def Leppard should do the same with Country Stars!!! I would like to see them with Dolly Parton!!!They are #1 on Classic Charts, I think they could be #1 on the Country Charts!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Joe is so hot and sexy in this interview I 💕 Def leppard and Joe I have drastic synonyms and I love it I play it full belt and especially my favourite Def leppard song is hysteria
Saw them last night for the 10th time and can confirm his voice is back Still don't agree with over £109 a ticket in Sheffield, cmon guys you should know better, no wonder small venues are closing
there are quite a few insecure males commenting on this. What Joe is doing is 1) getting older, your hair goes greyer when you do that, i know, shocking, 2) he is being who he wants to be, some should try doing the same sometimes, you might like it.
Fact is that grey hair does not look good to him, he's 63 he's not so old to start looking like this. He should fix his hair, I don't know who told him that he looks good with that hair but he doesnt. No matter if we're fans or not, he's not looking good. If he's feeling good and doing what he wants okay, but he's not looking good
@@giovannaantonialli4364 and if you dont think hes old enough to have grey hair you're in for a major shock when you reach that age, i'm 48, loads of grey hair, and i dont mind one bit.
You fans are so sensitive. I wonder if he would do the same to defend you if someone says that you look old or ugly. He doesnt even know that you exist and he doesnt care if you love or hate him.
The problem I have with Def leppard is that the drums sound awful, and yes I respect them for keeping Rick, however it’s always going to sound like a drum machine, and that just doesn’t do it for me
I don’t get the connection between the awful new album and playing in a small club. They should have split, then all those awful albums wouldn’t have happened.
@@kattycat3502 oh well, thanks for the compliment and I sincerely appreciate the love over the years, just decided to spare sometime for my genuine fans.
Saw them years ago before they was famous in Wolverhampton laff back street rock club and a few others still good today live time to get hair cut now starting to look like a little old lady
it's scary losing our voice.....i meant to say your voice.....but i guess it sounds better originally spoken....well not spoken unless typing and reading count as spoken......
oohhh by the way..... i remember a plane ride experience that i had once that was quite bizarre that took place in about 2006.....while flying to the UK......yeah.....AND i am still here too.....xx lol 🙃
