Hello from Germany, FIRST, I LIKE ALL YOUR MAKE-OVERS AND YOUR OTHER VIDEOS !!! And to the Defa Lucys: I bought 3 Defa Lucys: the fashion girls with white-blond hair and with dark pageboy hair. The 3rd is an "I love Yoga" doll. I like the different head shapes and the well-sewn outfits - especially how the fasteners of the clothes are processed - there is only the Velcro fastener and not several layers of fabric on top of each other!
This brand name dolls are beautiful quality the outfits have actual pockets and the tops got a different look than regular t shirts. It makes sense now to know some hair types need two water washes after the low temp hot tools. Its great the group can blend into the many other fashion set displays of color.

Great job as usual! The only Defa doll I gave a MTM body was the darker skin tone girl that didn’t have any arm or leg articulation. I think a few of my DF dolls do have nylon hair.

Ja inderdaad in het begin wat sceptisch ook over Lucy doll🤔, maar ze zijn schattig 😊. De fashion is erg leuk, inderdaad comparing to the basic looks, waar ik ook erg fan van ben. Zou nog wel wat meer Kens basic looks stijl willen zien in de toekomst van mattel. I hope so, we need more good looking Kens also🤭👌😍🧔♂️
My fav girls restyles, the bob girl (or bobbie as I call her 😂) and the platinum girl in the fairy dress. They were also my fav 2 dolls as is too, but I trust Temu as much as I trust my ex boyfriend, which is NOT at all! 👀

I hear you. I actually have several of these and see them as a separate doll type and display them on their own shelf. Definitely not Barbie substitutes for me!

Still not sure about these dolls yes they are cute but also serve major RBFS 🤣 in my humble opinion off course. Shame the hair is cheap and badly rooted I would get one just to reroot it. Hey Arjen, hope you are well. Is it so burning hot in the Netherlands as it is here in Germany? You know, I am a huge fan of Defa Lucy, I own now 10. Three of those you showed in your video. I did not get the peachy haired girl, as her face is not my fav. For the blond girl I took on both sides of her face, form the lower corners 2 small strands of hair, braided them as far as I could, secured them with rubber bands, tied them together behind her head, and rolled the rests up to a bun, which I secured with sewing pins. No bold spots visible. I just saw on SHEIN new ones. One with green hair. I need her. But in the meantime, they really are not cheaper as Barbie anymore.
Hm hard to say and depends on what you define as good quality. Clothes are better than Barbies, the hair in some cases, accessories are not that great .. but overall she is a clone doll and it just shows how Barbie is lacking quality now that even clone dolls can deliver almost the same level 👀
Maybe it's only me but I don't see a problem with no diversity. We don't ask for example Fresh dolls for diversity, but talks 'bout no diversity begin only with lines of light skin dolls. Make diversity "just because you have to" doesn't look good.
