Man the ship designs of Als NSD is very beautiful and fully packed with weapons and with many variants hope our AFP Chief will be able to see the ships, his currently there right now.🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭

HHI's corvette offer for the Philippine Navy will still win the race no matter what, aside from cheaper cost, the Koreans already know the Philippine procurement process, and they already has a foothold that was established since the time of PGMA.

@@paulsteaven well i hope it will be even more capable than to our current frigate, our jose rizal class frigates is a downgraded version of daegu class frigate, kinda dissapointing to be honest cause our government here doesnt really prioritize modernizing the armed forces.

@@xeno1453 that's what I'm hoping too. I dislike how the DND is 'rewarding' the HHI after the FAP Fiasco, but I'm hoping that it has better sea keeping features, space and hatch opening for the towed sonar array and no FFBNW this time.

Midship mast, ciws behind main gun, raised VLS behind ciws are the 3 features I always sought out. That Als 125/140 design looks promising. I always see this vid on recommendation, but 1st time finally clicked it

Themistocles Corvettes are with Israeli weapons, if I'm correct! Israelis having great medium air defense weapons and these corvettes would be great for hit and run tactics, while defending themselves from air attacks and missiles, also these Corvettes can be made realy fast 1 corvette per 8 months while Greece belong to this project. You need to undrestand the value of having Israelis giving you weapons for these Corvettes, the problem with ALS class is not the 'soft weapons' or electronics or the cargo space of the ship, but the need to buy 'hard weapons' at higher price , torpedoes, air defense missiles and vertical batteries. France will not give you aster 30 if you dont buy belhara and USA will not give u the latest version of SM-2 or the new SM-3 at low price if you dont buy their ships, the only way Greece to buy ALS class is an agreement with a third country as customer, with corvette themistocles is possible one agreement

Aster 30 is also Italian and england has the camm-er so we could get equipment from the country we will buy frigates from also some systems can be made by greek companies if nobody gives us

The Als family should have been our main frigate since 2012 with like 4 125s and 2 140s (if not our full navy by incorporating the small and medium variants as well) but unfortunately Greece is like the only country in the world that always ignores local manufacturers for it's defense systems 🙄 let's hope Themistocles corvette will go somewhere.

Themistocles isn't Greek. It's just the Israeli Saar class offered to Greece as Themistocles

@@georgekoul yes, as a cover to the gap of the navy when it comes to corvettes I mean. And while its based on the saar I believe the ship is a coproduction between Greece,Israil and America.

Έχει απλά να καλύψει το να είναι οικονομικό αυτό που παράγει και αξιόλογο, πέρα από τη χαζή γραφειοκρατία και ότι οι υπεύθυνοι κοιμούνται όταν οι κατασκευαστές ζητάνε άδιες και ευκαιρίες να δείξουν τι μπορούν να κάνουν, ο βασικός λόγος που δε φτιάχνετε κάτι είναι επειδή δεν έχουμε το οικονομικό προνόμιο να πειραματιζόμαστε με το αν κάτι δουλεύει ή όχι πλέον όπως κάνουν οι υπόλοιπες χώρες.

We got some drones and Spike-NLOS missiles for many vehicles/apaches for now. About the Corvette, it's either gonna be this one between Greece and Israel or again from France the GoWind that supposedly work perfectly with our new FDI Frigates ( Belharra ) and Rafale planes from France. Personally I'd like to see Greece and Israel build their own, but who knows...

The Themistocles Corvettes look good to me. Hopefully Greece buys 7 or 8 of these. The weapons systems from tbe Israelis can be very useful.

Its time greek goverment support greek naval companies like ALS or other companies in this huge defence field. Its very disappointing countries like Greece with so many years of naval history didnt have naval war vessels, like frigate or corvette category ''made in Greece''. Greek companies like ALS, they know excactly the Hellenic Navy needs and they can create from the beggining a naval vessel with all special characteristics and abilities for Aegean Sea and East Mediterrannean. I know that greek shipyards after a decate of economical crisis and other issues before crisis make them counterproductive. Well, if any greek goverment wants really support greek industry i think its time to do it. More jobs for people, maybe exports in the future, economical rising and strong defence for greek terittory are benefits from this with very low cost. In my opinion, these greek naval vessels are so competitive like other naval vessels from traditional countries in this category.

@@user-vu8zn1eq3c Let me tell u what Greek admirals want the smallest possible/cheap ship with long range air defense missiles (example a VLS of 6.5/7 metters) . The idea is simple, the big ships having big load, therefore they want these types of ships to be good against saturations The small ships 'cant be seen' (not always true) therefore they want these ships to strike the enemy forces at the right moment Ofc u cant have a missile boat to throw long range air defense missiles, because missile boats are too short for that. @@AlexAnastaso I do not know if you are from Greece but in general I think Greece should relax with the expensive ships.You can not compete with Turkey in everything, it's enough for you to be better in the Air Force,as for the navy i think to put missiles on the islands on the aegean sea its much smarter instead of 2 bellharra frigate you can buy 10000 spike missile or around 2000 exocet or 1000 sea breaker (which is excellent) or mix from all,put on the islands with air defence and the turkish navy cant do nothing.now about the israel ships they are not that small around 80 meters, I realized that they are not really expensive in the 50 million area without equipment,in the israeli navy they will have the barak 8 iron dome and anti ship missile maybe sea breaker.

ASL has been in paper for decades. Pretty pathetic that a navy like Greece with massive shipyards now rusted and top 3 largest merchant fleets can't even make a corvette or part of it. But too much outside influence and politics.

Οι σχεδιάσεις της Als είναι παρά πολύ καλές και φαίνονται καλά μελετημένες. Ο άνθρωπος έχει απελπιστεί όμως από ότι φαίνεται με το να παίρνουν συνέχεια από το εξωτερικό και να τους δίνουν συμβόλαια βλέπεις υπάρχουν πολλές μίζες από πίσω και κίνητρα για να είμαστε καλά πελάτακια. Από το 10’ μέχρι τώρα θα είχαμε 6-7 καινούργια πλοια με 2.4 τόσα χρόνια αν έδιναν αυτά τα μπατζετ σε ελληνικές εταιρίες και ναυπηγεία. Ψηφίστε τον Ηλία αν και αμάν τον αφήσουν να κατέβει μπας και δούμε άσπρη μέρα

Many of those display models were less than impressive. I wanted to reach into my screen, take them to my drafting table, and fix them up to look better. The gaps, poor measurements, paint work etc. are driving me crazy! Anyone else feel my pain? LOL Aside from that, I am impressed with what Greece has to offer. NSD design language, in particular, I found appealing and slightly unconventional. Made me smile.

@@CASIUSGELAEI jokes aside; to be able to create YOUR OWN, you need cooperation, but by the times those cooperations may requires "submission". Now Greece thinks, they can get anything from U.S. but there are agreements between China and Greece. At some point, Greece may be pushed to choose only one. That can effect lots of things.

Αγαπητέ κύριε δεν συνηθίζω να απαντώ στα δάφορα σχόλια που αφορούν το προσωπό μου. Είστε όμως αρκετά προσβλητικός και μάλιστα χωρίς καν να με γνωρίζετε. Θα επιθυμούσα λοιπόν να σας πληροφορήσω ότι ναι τα Αγγλικά δεν είναι το δυνατό μου σημείο. Αυτό όμως δεν με εμπόδισε να γίνω ενας καταξιωμένος μηχανικός στον χώρο μου. Δηλαδή όσοι δεν γνωρίζουν καλά Αγγλικά δεν έχουν δικαίωμα να ομηλούν ή να αναππνέουν; Δεν ζήτησα εγώ να δοθεί αυτή η συνένευξη. Ο κύριος Xavier μου το ζήτησε και παρόλο ότι του εξήγησα την υστέρηση μου στην γλώσσα επέμενε. Μάλιστα στην προσπάθειά του να με πείσει μου ενέφερε ότι ούτε αυτός μιλά καλά Αγγλικά και καθόλου Ελληνικά. Θα σας παρακαλούσα λοιπόν να είστε περισσότερο ευγενής. Ίσως μηλάτε καλύτερα Αγγλικά από μένα, εντούτοις είστε ακοινώνητος.

Απλά την επόμενη φορά βρείτε κάποιον άλλον να κάνει το promotion, γιατί promotion σε μια ακαταλαβιστικη γλώσσα δεν γίνεται, ούτε αφήνει καλές εντυπώσεις. Ένας άνθρωπος από το team σας που να έχει στοιχειώδεις γνώσεις αγγλικών δεν υπήρχε; Είμαι αγρότης με όλα τα πτυχία αγγλικών και επάρκεια από το υπουργείο Παιδείας. Είστε καταξιωμένος μηχανικός και γρυλίζετε κάποιες αγγλικές λέξεις σε μια παγκόσμια πλατφόρμα και μια διεθνή έκθεση. Να το προσέξετε αυτό. Δεν χρειάζεται να αυτοπροβάλεστε. Την επόμενη φορά στειλτε κάποιον άλλον.
