@@ML-jm2qj Real fights don't have to be to the death. In fact, by my book a fight ends with a result that both parties can live with. To me combat that ends in death is a war.
@@Hane_.._the point kinda doesn’t stand when you’re having a duel there’s supposed to be chivalry this isn’t war, buddy it’s two people ones brother, and one’s friend dueling, so the older brother, can duel his younger brother so that doesn’t really make sense…..no honor at all basically
It isn't actually cheat. Ins swordplay you learn to use faints to trick the opponent and land a blow. A fake swing, a fake opening... he just used a fake magic incantation .
one thing I like about this character is that he was asswhole in the beginning of the whole season and after the timeskin he change man, yea he still asswhole but he respect his brother more
@arlexdawn7848 this Dub? I saw the whole anime above in the sub, and the VA for the sub was more aligned to the character. To clarify, I can watch some dubs, but I don't like if the VA seems to be used incorrectly. I don't care about the VAs gender but more how the VA makes the character sound. For example, this one seems off. I wouldn't be able to finish one episode after seeing it all sub. I think I heard Naruto dub a few times that she does a good job voicing a boy in that one compared to this in my opinion. But I haven't seen much Naruto dub either just some clips I recall vaguely
@@BrownZFilmZ OK thanks for clarifying, yeah I agree with you, the character doesn't match the voice too much so it's pretty off putting when watching dub, they probably gave the role to someone cheaper because they had a typical low quality anime budget.
@arlexdawn7848 Your point being? The voice Maile Flannagan uses for Naruto sounds like it should be a boys voice. Her being a woman is irrelevant. It would be like Veronica Taylor using the voice she does for Delia, for Ash. It's not that the VA is a woman that's the problem, it's that they didn't use a character voice that sounded appropriate for a male character.
Still by far a very funny moment mainly cause a certain someone acts like tricks aren't something to be used in battle when battles are all about tricks traps and more not just honor and glory about only thing i see anyone ever following is just a greeting before battle
Just from this clip you'd never guess this guy was a bully to his younger brother. Glad they showed that bad people can change. Unlike those Trash villain Kids who stay the same trash bully when they grow up.
In japan characters that are young boys are voice acted by women in order to avoid the problem with deep male voices product of puberty, a man would be too deep or unnatural and a child is either too unprofesional or could have a voice change mid production.

To be fair Seika's voice in Japanese is also clearly a female VA. (Even if the quality is in fact better) For the higher pitched voices of children it's very common for female actresses to voice boys - and in fact I think there's only one truly iconic male VA for child characters, the one who does the voice for Conan Edogawa and Child Emperor (among others)

MC Is just voiced by a grown woman in the EN dub? I know it's pretty typical in JP dubs, but even then they make a convincing voice. She's actually just speaking normally 😂
No, english dub is meant to fit english watchers not to fit your idea of the character, but im pretty sure he is 12, tho I do agree in this anime the voice really doesnt fit
What is the male voice so bad. Could that not hire a male voice actor to do a male character voice? I mean there are like more than millions of men out there. Lol
