Climb those cemetery walls again Leave these flowers at your headstone Climb those cemetery walls again Every night, can't stand the sight of yourself "Now that you're gone, what am I to do? But get lost in this bottle, thinking of you" You drink till you're sick "Trace the grooves in your stone" Plot where you'll bury him The man that left you alone [Chorus] Climb those cemetery walls again Leave these flowers at your headstone Climb those cemetery walls again Every night, can't stand the sight of yourself You drink till you're sick, feel the dew in the grass As the sun's coming up, watch a funeral pass And you think to yourself "That should have been me" Two in the family plot, when you wish it were three [Chorus] Climb those cemetery walls again Leave these flowers at your headstone Climb those cemetery walls again Can't stand the sight of yourself Climb those cemetery walls again Leave these flowers at your headstone Climb those cemetery walls again Can't stand the sight of yourself
The Wave does that to you man. I'm the exact same way, I don't like hardcore music but I LOVE La Dispute, Touche Amore, Pianos Become the Teeth, Iselia, and Foxes. They all blend this post rock and melodic punk type stuff in their music, making it actual music and not just noise. Although I do find Defeater's vocals to be a tad bit inaccessible. =/ It makes a WORLD of difference when a hardcore singer can be understood.
