Seing you lost to Fuelweaver and taking the actitude "Let's step back a bit" and rolling back, helps me realise that failing is ok and to not give up. One boss that I heavly fear is Bee Queen. My first time doing it solo was with Wx-78, using the electric tanking strategy and failed miserably. After a lot of tries I decided to leave the world for a moment and to this day I didn't come back to that world for the same reason, Bee Queen. After watching this video I could happly say that I will return to the fight, trying again beating her and if I fail, then let's step back a bit and move on. Thank you and great video!
Thanks, Glad it helped, for bosses like Bee Queen I practiced on a separate world spawning her with commands its a tough one! Don't Starve *Together* is really not all too well optimized for taking down some bosses solo!
i enjoy your voice, good video to play minecraft with. If you could explain a bit more the things you [like when using the helmet against the werepig] as I like learning tactics but thats just a personal pref.
@@ThroatyWarrior Well just know I like just about anything gaming. In fact 80% of my life I've played video games from Terraria to Dst, and Minecraft to Stardew Valley. In fact I've been meaning to create videos and well now it's summer so I got the time.
So, I want to share a random tip for Dragonfly as Wanda. There's a secret way to fight Dragonfly without walls and flute that I found out after observing a strange behaviour involving some mobs aggro towards Wanda, including Dragonfly. In the larvae phase, if you use the backstep watch, the Dragonfly can lose aggro for some reason. It happens when your character teleports and appears again on screen in another place, so I think she can't assimilate the character's state after the teleport and forgets their existance lol. I need more testing, but this should work with Wortox's soul hop or any character with the Lazy Explorer. So... spam the backstep watch in the lavae phase. You'll notice it works when the lavae stops for a second to try to find you again. When this happens, just run from the lavae, but keep using the watch if you want to guaranteed that she lost the aggro. After spawning all the lavae, if Dragonfly is not aggroed into you, she'll go back to her original spot and you can simply wait for the enraged phase to go off and continue the fight. If you kill the last lavae instead of waiting, it's guaranteed that she'll get enraged instead of trying to spawn more lavae. She won't go after you unless you come close enough (unless something else attacks her, like a random Hound). Repeat until she's dead. And this is how I beat dragonfly without walls and panflute. I never thought about posting this on steam as a guide or something, but if someone is playing as Wanda and doesn't know this, there you go.
Not really. Only if you don't want to risk it, you can let the lavae die by themselves. Then Dragonfly has a chance of spawning more lavae instead of going straight to enraged phase. The fight drags on a lot in this case. But yeah, you have to wait the enraged phase, but at least you're not worrying about wasting extra resources.
Fyi: Treeguards don't spawn before day 5, the reason you didn't get one is because you were at day 4. I'd prioritize treeguards over totally normal trees because they give more living log.
you can indefinitely bait out celestial champion's regular attack on the 3rd phase without being hit, and while being able to hit the champion yourself with the alarming clock. such a stupid cheese but funny af.
Yo, next run will be Maxwell (you will need to wait a bit for it though). After that well see I'm not updated with what they added in skilltrees for Winona as I didn't play recently, if the skills are interesting then it's possible!
