This is what engineers try to do. Thankfully they are stopped by "laws" and "morals". Thanks to everyone who made me levels! My Discord: / discord Here are my other Poly Bridge 2 videos: • Video
That second level final pathway looks similar to a gamecube opening where it follows the weird path that forms the shape of your logo before showing the whole thing lol
Me: You start with the road, and then you build supports RC: You start with the Peaucellier-Lipkin mechanism, and then you build Scott Russell linkages
Me looking at the thumbnail: Oh he made that giant thing with just 4k, amazing! Me taking a second glance at it realizing what it actually was: 4 MILLION WHAT
I think the reason why the thin arms you originally used started wobbling is because of the no break mode. When the steal pieces break, they obviously have to rotate in a direction; so when the extremely large amount of stress it was put on it, I’m guessing a tiny glitch or programming oversight where the stress limit was gone over, so the tiny rotation of a rotation would be fine if it was braced completely, but because it was loose, the wobble made a feedback loop of a slight wobble- slightly larger wobble- slightly larger wobble- continue until bridge breaks. (I could be wrong, but that’s just my theory)
i watch you in the night to fell a sleep! Not that your videos are boring, I actually love your videos, but your voice is very calming and it actually helps me with my sleep. Keep the same energy and awesome content!!!
he has a similar voice and has similar humor but with chemistry so something that a normal person would freak out over he just says "its probably fine" anyways check him out lol
I would like to see you play Evolution Simulator. Just to clarify, it’s that 2-D game with the red joints, black bones, and red and blue muscles. This game would probably be very similar in design to poly bridge, meaning you could use linkages and other mechanical systems
Nobody: The bridge: "every my centimeter is overloaded by 375% more than physically possible and technically acceptable, but the owner said I should do it, so I will do it!"
I have been compiling a huge planar linkage repository of mechanical linkages since February of last year, and I've shared it with Reid! It's over a hundred pages long now, haha. Some of the very basic mechanisms are well documented and you can find them all over the internet. Some of the much more complex mechanisms required quite a lot of extensive researching, and sometimes we even invented new mechanisms exclusively for Poly Bridge to do the job. You can find a lot of the mechanisms he is employing in his videos from that repository. A link can be found on my latest video, or on his Discord server, where it's a pinned message in the channel for Poly Bridge discussion.
Imagine the people in poly bridge when some maniac makes a bridge like this... oh and yes imagine just having a normal car trip and you just get flipped upside down and crash
make a mech that picks up a semi, (or the heaviest car in the game) breaks through a vertical bridge, (must be able to support the car for 2 meters) and then throws the car to the flag. (200 meter throw
when i watch this i feel like the most dumb person on earth i love the vids but i dont understand anything i see funny machine thing that works in a bridge building game and i love it
You are intended to, but you can glitch it to upload anything you want. Fortunately in this game it's reasonably clear if something is beatable from the get-go
