Personally, defending is more exciting than any skills or goals. Mainly because when you watch videos to see good goals or skills usually, but this is the other side of the game that people don't usually recognize. Also, to deny someone their opportunity at a goal is such a sweet feeling, and it can get most people get really hyped when they see a bone-crunching, clean tackle.
4:55 I did karate for 5 years and I’m telling you, the flexibility you have will make up for it when playing soccer. You’re able to get your leg up higher when trying to get the ball. Look at Zlatan, he’s done Martial Arts for a long time and he’s hitting flexible goals left right and center!!!
Football gets a bad rap due to floppers like Neymar, but as you noticed, none of these were even called. You could basically break a dudes leg as long as you get that ball first.
the guy who take the ball from messi was paolo maldini one of the greates defenders of all time. saluti to sophie hey jay she seems like a nice intelligent girl youre lucky bro
You should check some Italian players: Genaro Gatusso and Paolo Maldini (brute force and defensive genious, respectively), Andrea Pirlo (pure class) and Del Piero or Alessandro Totti (the finest strikers in the league with the thoughest defense in the world). I'm Spanish but good football players are recognised internationally.
This is more of an example of a dodgy defence and goalkeeper rather than art of defending. Those are last ditch tackles any player can make them . Only casual fans can be fooled by this.
