Offset was not given to Ambani, it was decided by Dassault. Reliance is supposed to get maximum of 10 % of 30,000 crore of amount that Dassault is going to invest in India with other companies. So it is not just Reliance. The deal with HAL could not be struck primarily because Dassault refused to take guarantee of aircrafts that were supposed to be manufactured by HAL. And HAL already has orders worth 1 Lakh crores in pipeline. Former French President Hollande was desperately trying to regain momentum in politics as he does not have a good image in France itself. Arun Jaitley served as defence minister briefly, so he can speak on the topic. Do you seriously think JPC should be held when the politicians in opposition seeks help of Pakistan for a coup?

Our issue is procurement of advance fighter jet. It's too late. , because it's pending since moŕe than 15 years. So should we wait till we will be attacked.
