Space is the ultimate high ground, this domain is critical to Defence operations. Our Joint Force relies on access to space systems and information - as do the Australian public.
To achieve our strategic space vision, Defence has created Defence Space Command as the lead organisation for achieving Australia's strategic space ambitions and assuring our access to space for our national security.
Bringing together members of Navy, Army, Air Force, Australian Public Service and contractors, Defence Space Command reports to the Chief of Air Force as the Space Domain Lead.
Defence Space Command will develop and advocate for space priorities across industry, allies and our international partners.
