I almost was with a similar teacher (almost) much worse than Pamela Smart. 4th grade, I was 9 years old (1981). She came over to our home (apartment) to talk to my parents and I. She considered me her "favorite student", I was sitting on couch and she sat beside me. Put her arm around me. Parents didnt act/say nothing wrong (heck never never learned what would happen). She was transferring to another school same district and wanted to take me with her. She would take care all of paperwork and approval. Only needed my parents approval. They saw nothing wrong and immediately approved. It was at the second school that she attempted something. We were alone in class and she asked me to approach her. I saw she unbuttoned her blouse and her bra was obvious. She took my hand, pulled me toward her and tried to have me touch her breast. I quickly pulled away upset even drawing tears. I didnt realized she locked two opposite classroom doors. I was rattling the doors, she quickly unlocked the doors. However after using cleanex to wipe my face. She said "calm down please, you can tell anyone about this 'WE' will both get in trouble. Later that day she drove me home and placed her right hand on my high rubbing it. Didnt approach my privates. Nothing more happened. But saw her 4 years later in 8th grade different school of course. She turned WHITE when she recognized me in class as a substitute. After class I approached her and said "I didnt tell anyone. She replied near crying "thank you". "9 YEARS OLD!"

She should actually be called Pamela Not So Smart. She's disparaging the victim, making herself a victim, the kids are setting her up basically. In my opinion she saw an esily influenced young guy she could manipulate. Billy was granted parole and apparently is doing well. He has a job and support from his family. He's also married and keeps a low profile. When i saw him apologize to Greg Smart's family, I could tell his tears were real he was remorseful. He's shown more emotion than this con-woman. I hope he does good things in his life. I had to check and Pamela did finally accept responsibility along with filing for a change in her sentencing. She was sentenced to life, no parole. Again, she only tells the truth when it benefits her. To get an̈y chance at reduced sentence she has to own her part in the crime. Something she maintained up until filing this in court. 🙄

@the-finn she actually didn't really take responsibility. She's just saying what she thinks she needs to say to be released. She saying she's "responsible" without saying what she actually did that makes her responsible. She didn't even mention Greg's name! Not even once! This is her way of claiming responsibility to better her chances of being released while giving a wink-wink to her supporters that she's not "really" responsible. She is an arrogant, conniving liar, and she thinks we're all as dumb and gullible as her teenage patsies were.

@@mickymitts3031 Pam Smart exhausted her judicial appeal options when she returned her third petition to the Executive Council seeking a sentence reduction hearing in 2022. The council's rejection prompted her subsequent appeal to the Supreme Court which also dismissed her petition last year. They said ordering the elected board to reconsider their decision would violate New Hampshire's separation of powers. A cousin of Gregory Smart stated Pam continues to dance around the issue surrounding Greg's death. After all this time she only recently stated she accepts responsibility due to a writing class that has helped her to apparently draw out her feelings; however, Greg's cousin also brings out that she still flat out refuses to discuss and admit to any of the facts that make her fully responsible for Greg Smarts death. So she continues to serve a sentence of life without parole at the Bedford Hills Correctional Facility in Westchester County, New York. Billy Flynn was granted parole at the age of 41 in March 2015. Flynn’s three co-conspirators have also all been released from prison.

What I find disgusting in this case is the behaviour of both the judge amd the prosecutors. What judge asks for an actor he likes to play him in a film in a film about the case. I was shocked. The boys were in a cell together discussing how to lie best and how to make the jurors feel sorry for them. I believe one juror saw them laughing and hi fiving after the sentencing which made her regret her decision. It seemed massively biased
