I'm pretty sure you can use repair to block the hopper overdrive's stun, but you need a heavy hull for that, since it does 3,000 damage and kills a medium hull immediately

That's it, you figured out how to play with melee turrets attached to light hulls. Avoid frontal confrontations, especially with Freeze, if you take it from behind, it's over. You have to be treacherous and smart, if you just play on brute force and aggression you will die many times.

Best out of the three supply-boosting drones for sure Shame it takes 5 supplies each time, shreds though your double arnour supplies

I always used defender and did well with it most of the time. i dont know why people ignored it, even pre buff it was good

Jammer augmets have it good these, drones are a lot more accessible, applies every shot and disables the double supply permanently (not counting Crisis). i used to think jammer was the worst status effect but now I'd say it's better than emp and stun in a lot of cases since people don't usually use jammer immunity.

I would use booster, cuz i mostly play sitting in the back and shooting the magmum.

Defender drone is really good now. I use it most of the time these days but I plan to upgrade crisis so I have access to everything else. Great video!

I've started using defender now, it's not fully upgraded as yet but I still get one shot by players.

Current situation for me: I, always a Railgun/Magnum user *as an assault turret* as weird as that might sound and barely ever camping with it (just not my playstyle), recently switched over to Ares + Vulcan/Twins/Rico + Defender to play with something different and it feels like I've found the way to escape death. 40 kills and 12 deaths last match with Vulcan, and only using Defender as a drone. So, the question is: is this what we want in Tanki? Unkillable tanks? Wasn't it enough with Paladin + Isida + Vampire Nanobots + Crisis/Defender? Were the buffs really necessary? Imo, the Defender's was just so that people would not complain about the one from Booster's, because that is the real change. That buff allows certain turrets like Thunder to bypass the 1k damage mark and even further than 1k now, which reduces the amount of shots needed to kill certain key hulls. Remember, hulls' HP haven't changed. But I wonder, why not just slightly buff the DPS of some turrets instead if you don't have the balls to reduce the protection module percentatge from 50 to somewhere between 35-40? For instance, why not buff Magnum's DPS from 1440 to 1500 like it used to be and make it naturally able to 2HKO non-heavy, unprotected tanks? Would that break the game or something? What comes to mind to me first is, because then Brutus would also work with that combo, as well with others, and if you go from having to spend 4+ supplies for a single activation of a supply to just 1, then you're not spending crystals on supplies/UCs which basically means you will potentially not ever make a single in-game purchase (aka always f2p) and that's not what they want. And that's about it, I don't see a reason no to slightly buff certain turrets' DPS other than making that *certain* damage you know you will deal *uncertain* with critical shots so that you feel more compelled to pay for the Armadillo, which is of course far more expensive than other modules to upgrade because, of course, critical hits had to be not just a bonus to the game that would happen every now and then, but become an angular stone for certain turrets that otherwise would be of no use whatsoever. I'm anti-crisis, I think that Drone is nothing but toxic to the game and should be removed from MM at least, and now that Defender is pretty much the same, I can't help but feel dirty...

i think they should also increase buff for trickster. The buff damage increase for booster should be at least 40 percent.

personally I hate defender, it is super annoying to go up against in matchmaking- especially if someone has 50 prot and defender they are litterally invincible... basically entirely ruins my favorite turrets some games
