Hi Patrick, it makes the rusted areas a solid surface but they recommend that you paint it after.

Hey Joseph, started with a 80 grit, 120, 240 then primed, followed the priming with 400 & 600 grit before spraying the paint. The more time you spend on the prep, the nicer finish you’ll get 👍🏽
