While conducting research for the PAF history books (Eagles of Destiny - links provided below), the authors came across a 16mm film in the US National Archives and had it digitized.
The film, shot during 1958-1959, contains excellent footage of PAF legends and their aircraft, including aerial shots of various planes such as T-6, T-33, Freighters, and formation after formation of Sabres! It also includes footage of historical significance, such as Sabres still in USAF markings being ferried to Mauripur, squash legend Hashim Khan with young PAF cadets, and Sargodha runway construction.
We have identified some of the PAF officers in the film with timestamps, but this is not complete and we will update if/when new data becomes available. We hope you enjoy the video.
