It has been a while since you've posted a video , i am glad to see you back. Thanks for this video. It is great to see Jade Lizard possible adjustment. So far, I have only traded that strategy in my paper account to make sure I am able to manage it the right way. I'll put your suggestion in practice. I have an question for you. I saw in the video ( at 3:53) that you are able to put “upcoming earnings date” in a watchlist of TWS. Where in the settings it is possible to find that option? I have tried to find it ,without any success, since I am using TWS. Cheers
There is another strategy that you didn't mention, and that is to do nothing and take assignment. I set up Jade Lizards on stocks I have zero issue owning. Then I will do covered strangles at that point.
Any idea how I can insert the "upcoming earnings" column? I can't find it under the "insert column" tab. Or does it just display on its own when earning dates are given from the companies? Thanks.
I notice you make your adjustment the day that your short put is tested/breached. Is immediate adjustment something you always do? Or are their times where you wait and see what the underlying does and make the adjustment closer to 21dte if needed? Thanks.
It’s dependent on movement. I try not to adjust trades more often than 5 days between adjustments to give the position time to fall back into range. Part of the reason for this is trading fees that can eat into revenue. When a position is touched it often triggers an adjustment.
Thanks for watching. I’m confused by your comment as all of the transactions are included and summarized on each adjustment proposed in this video. Which loss have I missed? Please provide a detailed breakdown of any one the trades to show that my math is incorrect.
