Question: is it safe / structurally sound to lay in the trenches the dpm, then the concrete, then block and mortar courses ?

Yes it is. The dpm serves as a protective layer between the soil and the concrete. Based on how it is spread, it could prevent the soil from getting contact with the concrete as well as the blocks.

What we used was 1500 cedis
