This is definitely one of my favorite movies. I love the scene where the weather channel is on the tv - and it’s scrolling at the bottom “74 degrees, perfectly clear all the time.”

Agree, Al Brooks is always good. One of my favorite films. I vividly remember coming out of the theater in SF and kissing the ground; I was so grateful to be alive after seeing this movie. Thanks for your talents Jordan.

Wow, 30 year ago. Albert Brooks first met Meryl Streep at Carrie Fisher’s (Friends since high school) home after he had just finished writing the script. He asked her, “You wouldn't be interested in playing the lead in my movie, would you?" She was indeed. Albert’s dad Harry Parke, actually was a comedian who died on stage at the Friar's Club, just after he finished his roast style comedy routine. It gave the scene at the comedy club that extra layer of thought,

I always liked this movie as well, I first saw it when it opened in 1991. Albert Brooks is incredibly underrated as a screenwriter.

I remember watching this and thinking I hope that the afterlife is like this! Especially the eating part! I also liked the way that they dealt with the subject of death without becoming overtly religious! Albert Brooks is one of my favorites! Well done, Jordan!

My top 3 movies of all time. I'm older n have a film degree. Love A, Brooks n this movie 4 so many reasons n seasons. Never gets old. Anyways a new perspective anytime I watch. Love this!
