I like the US but I’m sceptical about its ability to war. I have real worries should it go to war and after losing men it would then fold under public pressure. It’s press being fragmented and aligned to one side or the other would effect people’s opinion and as such bring a halt to any action for fear of losing lives, as war does. That’s where Russia and others have the advantage because they are willing to lose their men in order the achieve their aims. After all we have seen it before in the Vietnam war so there is a historical precedent.

Secretary Austin sounds more like a diplomat than a military man. Maybe his Iranian adviser didn't have the capacity to advise Mr. Austin better. What is clear is that the ones that watch this tragedy are expecting better reaction because Putin increasingly aggressiveness that actually is dictating the way the Ukrainian war will be conducted.
