I like this guy 10x more than fangio already, Just his personality alone gives me more optimisim than I had with fangio at the helm.

Fangio is a great scheme coach but he's stuck in his ways with its his guys and that's it. Not playing cam Smith over people like Eli apple is crazy to me. Injuries derailed our defense. We lost 5 of our starting DE and had vets off the couch starting in the playoffs. Hopefully this guy does well. But don't ever think fangio didn't make this defense great when we had everyone out there.

He’s giving me firm but fair teaching and coaching style. He seems he can build a connection with the players really well just by how he’s talking about his style. That’s what we need, someone the defense can relate to

I like him. He is very casual and comfortable with the media (similar to McD), but he is knowledgeable about the game and the history of the game. He is clearly not a curmudgeon so I think he will win the locker room.

I think he's exactly what this defense needed. Adding him, and the draft picks, with a healthy Chubb and Phillips, and the style of what this D can be is exciting as hell. hopefully, the interior line is reinforced. let's go!
