@@retroblue69696 A lot of fans don't understand or appreciate defensive defencemen. This video proves it. I love that aspect of the game. Tons of Leafs fans wanted Holl sent to the Kraken for nothing. If you take the time to watch him play you get that he's just a player that makes the right plays, sees the game and doesn't give up the puck. He knows how to get the puck out of the defensive zone and into the offensive zone be it by taking it himself or passing it. He shoots with the goal of getting a rebound instead of worrying about getting a few goals because he knows that more goals will happen that way. Fans are pissed off they lost a winger they paid almost nothing for instead of the defenceman who solidified their blueline.
Old video, but what the hell was the ref doing on that Caps vs Pens play? Puck is loose, keep going. Pens had 3 penalties in that play that they ignored.
