I just checked the Airbnb app and noticed they use strokes, dividers, and shadows on the profile page. The video was excellent and very helpful. I loved how you explained everything.
I watched so many videos on RU-vid about making UI design better. But nobody told about how to use stroke, divider, suface and shadow. This is really first time for me. So thank you sir.
Thank you so much chethan for providing so valuable information to us jr designers you really are the best design community person I saw may god bless you
You have absolutely fantastic lessons sir. One thing I would recommend is giving a lil hint in starting for what the issue is, examples are so great, I just feel giving a bit of hint of what the problem will be in these examples quicker would work even greater!
I think surface color enough rehga differentiation karne ke liye, since bg most probably a bit dark rehga compared to cards. But anyways, I'm eager for the output of this app. Also, it'll be a learning for me.
And it is always confusing for me to choose surface colors. It would be helpful if you make a video on choosing surface color. Something like what shade of color should we choose, how to prefix the surface color choices etc
Just open the color picker and move the color stop a tiny bit away from white color. Make sure to stay on the side of blue so that you can get a cool color and not warm.
Hello chethan, i have a doubt regarding ux portfolio. What kind of projects is a must have in our portfolio? There are different kinds of ux case studies such as mobile app, website, web app etc. As ux designer or product designer in these types of case studies which type is ideal to get noticed by recruiters
Hey, is this a valid flow: User selects an option from bottom sheet and then the bottom sheet expands for next level selection. Or r we supposed to use full page post selection? PS : the flows of selection are related and constitutes for a user journey
How many videos are left in this series? Also when redesigning any app is it ok to take decisions and make changes to the app which are normally taken after collaboration?@@DesignPilot
Yep my bad I framed my question very poorly. I mean to say that generally design decisions are taken within the team after collaboration and with pm's and stakeholders. But when redesigning any screens when I'm not working at that particular company is it ok to make changes on that app that are taken after alot of thinking and considering business goals? Such as fonts, interactions and ux copy etc. @DesignPilot
